I've got the 800,been pretty reliable after 3500 miles, power valve cable broke, been through a couple belts. Had the torsion spring plastic clip break but other than pretty good. The pull cord tends to rattle but the prostar would be a huge down step power wise. They really missed their change to get this in the 850 and new chassis. Everyone here is riding acre turbos or 850 extremes. 90 hp isn't enough on a sled this size and what it's meant to do. Hoping next year they step up their game or it's an expedition for me

my past wide track sleds were a 2010 expedtion 1200se, 2018 titan sp, 2020 expedition 900 turbo se, 2021 epedition 850 and my latest sled a 2023 expedition turbo R. i would have bought another polaris if they would have came out with their 850 motor. what in the world were they thinking by not offering something with more than 90 hp?

Just get an Expedition. These S4 engines are a pain in the A to maintenance. Like, who was the design monkey that thought it was a good idea to put the oil drain plug and filter behind the secondary clutch. You must remove the secondary to do an oil change. Just dumb.

You call 3500 miles reliable i say 15k+ miles reliable!

@@edwardabrahamiii3742 two stroke life bud, I drive and use it hard. If you get to 6000 miles before a top end rebuild it's pretty solid. No 800 or 850 is going to 15k, I've had all the brands. Sleds need maintenance it's part of life. 4 strokes are fine and will run longer for sure, but you pay the price in weight and not having a pull cord is a deal breaker for me. Seen to many 4 stroked stranded cause it's too cold and battery is dead. Polaris needs a 4 stroke turbo I'd only consider the expedition turbo r in the 4 stroke market right now

I have 800 miles on my Titan S4 , love it . I put 108 Woody's on it with 8'' runners on the skis . Handles great on the trails , pulls the ice shack like a dream. Great sled!

Until you go to maintain it. Then you will see a crap ton of poor design choices.

@@lennstang not bad considering its a wide track an that it takes more energy to get the track spinning vs a 15 wide track.
