    Thanks Kole. Nice sled. I had that X2 with S4 on SnoChk but after 3 delays I canceled and picked up an in stock 650 ADV 137. I hope to see and hear one of these S4. Nice work Kole and Co.

    Great Job Kole. Sure would appreciate some intel in the area of fuel economy. I realize conditions and ride style are big variables, but can someone provide a real world range of what can be expected?

    I agree, it has an 11.5 gallon capacity, fill up the tank and drive until you’ve used 11 gallons . divide miles driven by 11 this gives us an average.

    Nice job! I have a 23 titan S4 , I put 800 miles on it so far . I love it , tows the ice shack like its not there. I love how easy /smooth the clutch engages . In high range it is breathing pretty hard at 50mph not sure how many R's its turning , maybe 6kish. I feel like its geared a bit lower than it needs to be?? I wonder if the Adventure/ Matryx is geared a bit higher for the trail. Also , I assume the drive mode option is exclusive to the Matryx ...7s?? Not on the Titan/Axys, If I can shift drive modes I haven't figured out how. Thanks!

  • @AplusPowerSports

    @AplusPowerSports

    The Titan is designed for work so it has a lower gear ratio in it, but the size of the track is causing the speed reduction 20X155" track is a lot of rotating mass. When S4 is in the Matryx chassis it has a top speed of around 80 mph. Also the 7s is the only way for the computer to change through drive modes.

    Yes I'm going to purchase a 2024 Polaris ProStare Indy S4 XC sled very soon. I prefer the 4 stroke because how reliable they are and less smell and it being quiet than makes things easier to talk to someone else

    Yes I agree! I had the chance to ride on last week and they are a very nice sled they handle very flat through corners and the different drive modes make a huge difference. I hope you enjoy your new sled!

    Good review, im a new subscriber. I was wondering how easy is it to change the spark plugs? They probably last longer. Also, with electric throttle by wire, is it feasible to add cruise control? Thanks

  • @AplusPowerSports

    @AplusPowerSports

    Thanks for the sub! Spark plugs are easy to change but follow your owners manual for maintenance schedule so youre not changing them too early. You cannot add cruise control on the snowmobiles, it wouldnt be safe of the trails.

    Trying to find scratchers that will fit a 2023 Indy adventure S4 any insight would be appreciated.

  • @AplusPowerSports

    @AplusPowerSports

    Polaris doesnt offer a scratcher set up for their trail snowmobiles. The sleds are designed to cool properly in good snow conditions. The issue we have with scratchers on trail sleds is the rails dont have many options to install them and drilling another hole in the rail can cause them to become weak.

    Nice rig but I think I'll stick with my proven 900 ACE. I also have a 600 ACE for my son and this S4 sounds exactly like it (no surprise since both are inline twins).

    Yes they are both competing in that segment. The biggest advantage this S4 would have over the Skidoo is the Matryx chassis and its easy of handling. But to each their own!

    Polaris has designed this engine for cold weather so you should have no issue starting it in -30c. The Polaris off road vehicles such as the Ranger have no issues starting in the cold.
