I have this game in VR and I am obsessed with it. It is so much cooler in VR and you can really appreciate the art design. Level 3 is super hard!

Holy crap the sound design of this game is so well done

This is the first VR game I had ever played, over at a friend's house. And there's no real comparing footage to an actual experience with the VR headset. I adore the surreal experience this game provides.

Brian Gibson and his friend sure know how to make a psychedelic musical masterpiece of a game.

This looks so good. Somebody bring my war drums!

What I like about this is that you're fighting monsters from a higher plane of existence. One of the major problems of this concept is determining how you're going to render these monsters in a visual format, since these monsters are composed of geometry that we are unable to comprehend. And yet, these developers have found a creative solution to this issue, by anchoring the beetle to a lane (our plane of existence) and just have the monsters able to float in the void as much as they want (the higher plane of existence). That is a concept I find most intriguing and rewarding.

Thumper is a horror game disguised as a rhythm game. The further you go the music becomes more chaotic and intense and the bosses become more horrid. The beetle is going down the path of madness, and it can't stop.

The monolith seen at the boss fight is based off of the monolith from space odyssey.

I consider the plot in this game to be that you're trying to get to Rhythm Heaven, but first you need to get through Rhythm Hell.

It took me a good 5 minutes to finally get into it now it's mesmerizing

+Gtx 1080 I wonder how would you know if the HD rumble was 'annoying' for a game that is not out yet, unless you are referring to the HD rumble in general. Also, that is 'your' opinion, but there are many games that use the HD rumble feature differently. Then there is the fact that HD rumble applies to multiple configurations of the Joy-Con's (on the Switch, detached with straps, in either Joy-Con Grip or Charger Grip), and/or the Pro Controller. Each variation will have an affect on how the HD rumble is perceived and felt, as well as effectiveness. Unfortunately, I find your statement (which should be read as opinon) quite vague.

+Gtx 1080 Ah, ok, now that makes a lot more sense (and properly explains your earlier point). That issue is not really present in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or TLoZ: Breath of the Wild (to me at least). Depending on the personal conditions, this on acid would be either absolutely incredible, or beyond overwhelming.

And that's only level one. I'm in love. It seems like a great game. I could see how the end game levels would be borderline impossible.

The First 15 Minutes of Bullet Blasting Bobsled Beetle

This is literally a hellish Parappa Da Rappa acid trip but you know in a good way.

Legend has it, if you double jump or clear the hairpin turns perfectly, you can fly for extended periods

This just look exactly like a massive DMT Trip. EXACTLY. even the violence remember Me on a DMT trip. Crazy... Thumper 2 will be a Salvia trip perhaps :D
