Fantastic Adam, it’s really coming together isn’t it. Loved the excitement in your voice as you went room to room switching on the lights, can totally relate to that as I’m the same. Rich’s frame for a frame to accommodate your wide wall was brilliant, made a lovely difference, great workmanship.

Interesting your knots came through. I always use Zinsser BIN for the knots. A shellac primer that's £20 a tin but comes in handy for other stuff. Mainly because it goes on easily, dries in 20 minutes, and it's white so much each to paint over!

Fabulous! It’s all looking really good Adam! Loving the excitement over the lights, made me chuckle. 😂 The last time I fitted shower panels was a totally different experience than you had. The customer bought them (they were the mdf ones) and was told to keep them flat so he laid them out on the lawn!! 🙄 The kitchen video will be something to look forward to. I paint the skirting’s first in satin white with a 4” foam roller, then when dry, cut them and fit them!

Yes mate, I'll be doing that for the skirting downstairs, although I'm not sure about the faim roller, I've never had the best results, I get lines and bubbles??? Maybe it's the quality of roller?

@@mrabuilders6723 definately 4” foam roller, only cheap rollers, Dulux satin oil based paint. Haven’t tried with water based paint yet.

Adam, make sure you DO NOT use fibre washers on your thermo-mixer shower bar. I did. After 8 years a drip developed that then ran back along the outside to the pipework and dripped onto the downstairs ceiling. RUBBER washers! Schoolboy error, but what a mistake!

Interesting solution to knots, I’ll have to give it a try. I resorted to using aluminium primer which works well. It’s very annoying when you put in all the hard work in prepping and then about 1 year later they bleed through.😤😤

Guys, i hope you siliconed the tray before putting the screen on? Almost every shower leak i get called to is because the siliconing was done after the shower screen was fitted Also ensuite looks stunning

I was going to keep it, but the new finished floor would have been part way up the original bricks that made the cill losing the detail. I could have raised them up but that would have meant that it's no longer original feature so it lost its appeal to me, and that was that!
