I know they shut down. And that's not entirely true, about us never getting another Mario & Luigi Game... Nintendo picked up on the Mario & Luigi development project, so we might see some Mario & Luigi games in the future. Whether or not we'll see remakes is uncertain. But if Nintendo Listens, we may get a remake after all.

This theme is so sad - Heres why The game has alot of references to world wars, such as the bombs and such. It also shows what kids and adults alike go through during war, kids having to learn how to defend themselves while their personal protectors go missing, one by one.

So hear me out.... I'll take them both, thank you VERY much. In the Final is a MUCH more bombastic theme for a battle for the fate of the nation, especially when BOWSER is your only hope, but here, they have not had the balls to get this dark since super paper mario. The battle is already lost the moment you arrived in holijolli village, here you're just trying to scrape one last possible victory.

They did BIS first because it relies on the touchscreen much more than PiT. PiT could be getting remade on Switch, for all we know. BIS wouldn't work with a single screen, let alone without a touchscreen.

AlphaDream was one of the best video game developers ever in my opinion. The Mario & Luigi series offered something no other mario series reached. The main series' games are good but generic in general. The spin-off's..., are just spin-offs. Paper Mario..., well TTYD and Super offered lots of emotion and creativity, but the other three were generic at best. Mario & Luigi though..., every single game is different and offers something new and interesting, heck, even Paper Jam to an extent. You can't simply go wrong with Alphadream.

Yeah. At this rate, the chances of relaunching AlphaDream as an in-name-only unit of Nintendo, as well as the chances of a revival or straight-up reboot of the Mario and Luigi RPG series, and releasing all subsequent installments of the series exclusively to the Nintendo Switch are most likely slim, if not absolutely none.

@@ZacharyNoah Rareware had a hard economic time too and when they said so, THREE companies, big companies also, were fighting to keep them, they only didn't stayed with Nintendo because Microsoft gave more money (not so good decision _in my opinion)_ Yatch Club Games also went bankrupt while doing Shovel Knight. Anyways totally different case, when they released it they recovered themselves so, different case. But ya get the point, I'm not saying we hype up like "YES THEY PROBABLY COMING BACK" but not be totally demotivated. Nintendo *maybe* learnt from letting Rareware go (even tho Rare were the ones to take such desition) and will fight a bit more for AlphaDream as they have been straving with Mario RPGs since, instead of doing the casual Sticker Star system like since also Sticker Star. Anyways, still I wouldn't mind Paper Mario to take the path its going now, just add a little bit more of the first two (or any RPG, tbh. I'm not going for the "if its not like the first two its crap" mentality): XP system and original characters (Origami twins are, well, two original characters only) and a litle bit more original partners also, really, just give a hat to a mustached Chomp and that's original. And with M&L on the other side, Mario RPGs would be going through a great and nice and original and shiny looking path again.

I know it's been five months since AlphaDream declared bankruptcy and went out of business, but we still can't let the Mario & Luigi RPG series stay cancelled forever. Nintendo needs to start a new in-house unit, made up of AlphaDream's former key members, and with one specific goal: continue the production of the Mario & Luigi RPG series, or at least give it the "reset button treatment."

This isn't the end for Mario and Luigi. I can tell you that. As a person who has had some of his favourite franchises shut down and his hopes smoked, this isn't the end. If anything, this will be a new beginning.

For some reason 0:48 makes me think about how much detail this fight has. No matter who wins, one species will become entirely doomed, not only does this fight determine the fate of the past but also the future and you only have one chance to make things right

This song, not just your amazing remix, but especially the original is not just one amazing heroic and sentimental track. It is the mirror of your history. It mirrors all the pain and desperate times you have gone through and survived. You have seen how an alien race - just because they had no home and felt lonely - started to destroy an entire species, an entire society just to start their new life there. On the other hand, you have survived and seen all the pain that has come through those aliens. Your friends and loved ones have been killed and all that takes your last sense in life away from you. It is nothing left, you have a tiny bit of hope, but it seems almost pointless, even impossible to ever change! You have seen the disastee at the beginning. The toads in the beginning town has been kidnapped and you feel bad. You visit the town at the top and all what you find is destruction and you get defeated by Shroobs. A long time later you will revisit this village and have bad feelings and this gets worse when you enter the toad village. You see all the ruins and you know you are too late. This damage is and will be forever part of the town. It has marked in history and is irreparable. This song is literally a big summary of what I have felt over my playthroughs. As a child, as a teenager that is becoming an adult. It is about friendship, the sense in life or more like: What is what we really need and wish for? Kinda reminds me of War....and it fits the game that people lost their home and family to absolutely shocking brutality... Maybe some people think I over-interprete this, but this is exactly what always comes to my mind when I listen to this master piece that always let appear some tears in my eyes.

This music really fits the vibe of “pouring yourself a glass of water as you stand at the windowsill gazing into the night sky and the stars contemplating the existence of life”

An amazing boss fight only to be utterly ruined by Shroswer. Why the hell does that even exist?

The song and the name really does make this intense boss the final battle and climax Now only if that were true, with this boss just being the boss before the actual, aniclimatic, final boss

This song always felt a lot like Lavos's theme from Chrono Trigger to me, and with this updated version, adding more depth with the synths, bells, and percussion, it just reinforces that!

This is beautiful and mesmerizing. Partners in Time needs a remake. Then all the Mario and Luigi RPG games would be on the remade and they would look really good. Also Princess Shroob for Smash!

A cool name for this track would probably be something like: *"War for the World"*

Ok, I have to make this clear, at first I honestly did not think this theme fit to being a "Final Battle" theme, though with a lot of them in the Mario series its kinda like either a Rock type or a CastleVania type theme for it, but once I actually fought EPS, goddamn this is perfect!

BJ Kaye defenitely them, they take a lot of enjoyment in destroying planets, due to going insane because of their planet's star dying. But they also HAVE to do it if you think about it. The only way to make a planet habitable for them would be to...make it inhabitable for others So while they are still terrible, and have done many atrocities on the Mushroom Kingdom, you still feel a sense of guilt taking out any shroobs, since you KNOW they're a dying species, and killing one is just bringing them one step closer to extinction. It also makes Elder Princess Shroob a much more tragic final boss than any other I've seen. They don't fight to destroy the mushroom kingdom...they don't fight to rule it...they fight to avenge their sister and kind, and save what little remains of the shroobs from extinction... but losing also means the extinction of Humans in the Mario world... the fight is one of the perfect interpretations of a *"One shall stand, one shall fall"* kind of fight.

Im getting the feels right now... Such an emotional final battle between the Bros and the Baby bros vs Elder Princess Shroob, This is truly one of the best themes within partners in time that i think is one of the best. Anywho great remix 👏,👍,✌,👋.

This sounds like a legit 3DS remake of the soundtrack! It's that awesome!!!!

I love it. The only problem is that it doesn't keep the same atmosphere as the original, it's sad but it doesn't feel as if you're in a dire situation. Well it kinda does, but it isn't the same... Other than that this is perfect

i recently finished the game and I've been obsessed with this OST. this remix is amazing, it gave me goosebumps.

I know that people say that she had too much hp in the American release. But I think how ridiculously high her hp is is a perfect way to show how other worldly these shoots actually are to the bros. Plus with the music and part way through if you not the best at countering her attacks it really makes you feel desperate while trying to beat her. And it's an amazing experience that way. If this series somehow continues without alpha dream, I hope the team making it does a great job, but also I hope they bring back the hard mode that was there with Dream team and use it as an excuse to make certain bosses have way more health than normal to give that feeling again.

Yo, interesting remix- perhaps the effects of mario and luigi's time traveling partners is reverberating -to the shroobs specifically, it's do or die for them; if they don't give their all left to stop you the player and the bros' team, it's all over

This song brings me back so many memories from the first game i ever played. The sheer emotional value of the remix made me literally start crying...

Absolutely beautiful. There’s no other way to describe it. A wave of chills and nostalgia came through the whole thing and now I need to replay PiT

Wonder how they would make the game enjoyable in Switch while it need split screen or two screen to work properly

see the problem is no matter what happens 1 race is doomed to go extinct and that is what makes this a very sad game

I love what sounds like a bell in the background, really adds to the time theme

A raging storm, an unholy abomination of destruction, the world at stake, this is the final fight that will determine the fate of not just the world but also the shroobs…

Thank you for creating this, the younger me came back at this moment, this game will always have a special spot in my heart, the first RPG I've evr played is also the bst RPG I've ever played, to see the most beautiful track from this game being remade males tears come from my eyes as we speak

I LOVED playing this game. Not only because you can play with Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, but it also features a LOT of crazy mechanics. No need to say the final battle soundtrack is one of my favorite OST in the Mario franchise. I'm so grateful to you for making this remix. This song is powerful and awe inspiring. That should of been a question on the quiz on bowsers inside story.

Gonna be honest the reverb really gives the mix a real oumph if you get what im saying, the background singing is really well done and is pitched greatly, truly, a wonderful remix.

The closest remake feel I can get with this game is muting the sound on my 3DS and playing this track over it starting at the exact right time and it feels like a remake in a way. Great job man. Wish this game got a remake it deserved it

This theme , grand finale and adventure end are the best ost of Mario and luigi series

why did I hear choir voices at 0:30 to 0:47 repeatedly in this original final boss theme? The choir voice parts are stuck in my head. Nice remix by the way! 👍🏻

In all honesty this is my favorite final battle theme in all of the M&L games. I would say its better than Into the Final from M&L:Bowser's inside story.
