Another great video! I agree with your take on the ghosts as well. I always mention to people when the topic of ghosts comes up is how is it that Camp Colt barracks were built directly on the site of Pickett's Charge and all those soldiers who were encamped there for several years on the site where so many soldiers lost their lives and yet there is never an instance that I have ever found of there being anybody recording being haunted out of their barracks at night or noticing anything supernatural occurring while stationed there. Like you said Tim, it must take at least over 100 years to pass before any real haunting can begin in a historical location!

Even after 100 years or more, the descriptions of these battles and people being forced to flee, their homes, not knowing what they could come back to her would come back, too, after the battle ended are still heart wrenching at least for me. Excellent description of what went on.

What an amazing spot on the battlefield. Thanks for sharing.

I got attacked by the same bird when I visited on July 3rd! It shadowed me all the way out to Iverson’s Pits. Then bonked me on the head about 4 times while I sprinted back to the road. Definitely bruised my ego… lol

On June 14 the same little bird was perched out in the rain on the rifle muzzle of the 11th NY Infantry monument. It didn't attack us but it chirped a lot at our group!

We couldn’t find the location of Iverson’s pits when we visited last week, but it looks like we were too far down across from the Doubleday Inn. I assumed we couldn’t see the monument due to the wheat being grown up around it. Now we know! Also, thanks for the laugh and glad the bird didn’t get you, lol.

Look out for the orbs.. i mean birds. Thanks for all your info and hard work.

The funniest animal encounter I've seen on the battlefield was when a group of my students tried to walk Pickett's Charge and were driven back to Seminary Ridge by a mother and a bunch of baby "Yankee" skunks. Have a photo somewhere.

Tim missed his chance to plug the new ACHS building. It was prominently visible behind him when he was on Oak Ridge in the later part of the video.😄

I hear if you ask the ghost of Dan Sickles to appear 3 times he'll show up. Although a little farther in front of you than expected.

Beetlejuice was not more handsome than Sickles though.

My son was chased by that Redwing black bird on July 5th 2022 when we were at the same place! Tim's not alone.

Lol that was one of the prominent avian species in the area, one of my favorites, the redwinged blackbird. They're quite territorial. i once got buzzed very aggressively whence accidentally stumbling into a nesting area on the Delaware Bay. Anyway, i'm personally not a true believer when it comes to the paranormal lore...but i leave it alone because first, i don't want to step on other's toes, but more importantly, because it's a part of the attraction to battlefield towns and their economies, like it or not. They're dug in, and while some may not be thrilled about it, they do contribute to the bottom line 😊🤷‍♂️

I absolutely love Tim and his knowledge of the battle. But I'm not sure why he and others chastise and poke fun at people who believe in ghosts. If you don't believe, that's fine. But there is no reason to poke fun of those who do. How does it affect your life that they do?

Yes! That bird must be stopped! I was out there last week, and July of last year... and the same damn bird dive bombed everyone!
