When the topic of no one can really die in hell is brought up i always think of Minos Prime, if you think about it, minos is as of now the only person to have been granted true peace, you can only harm/kill a soul if they are in a physical form, hense why Prime Souls are so rare, they are they only ones that on death, can have a true rest.

I believe when the husks and other such demons die, they're dead for good. Gabriel hinted toward such when he says "Limbo, lust, all gone, with gluttony soon to follow." The machines annihilated entire layers, and they're now devoid of life, much like they've done with mankind. There's also the fact that in Minos Prime's terminal data, it states "A prime soul is an incredibly rare occurrence in which a soul amasses so much power that it no longer requires a Husk as a vessel to manifest physically. " With this alluding to the fact that a husk is required for a soul to manifest, minus these extremely rare scenarios.

I also think that souls can't be seen in the game. So, although all the husks and demons can be destroyed, there are still souls aimlessly wondering around in the layers of Hell. We just can't see them. We can only see a soul when it manifest physically through a husk, and like you said, when the husks body is destroyed they die for good, and cease to exist. Like a "second death". Ironic given that the second death is a real thing in the Bible, just a little different.

some machines are already in hell from expeditions, but once humanity died, the other machines descend hell looking for more fuel. Presumably V1 is one of the first to get in, as by the time he is in heresy, gluttony is about overrun 3 layers back.

If this were the case though, why wouldn’t you just off yourself. If a soul doesn’t feel like doing it’s punishment for 1,000 years it could just end itself and skip all the trouble.

I believe that the Ferryman from 5-3 was both a newly formed Ferryman, as well as not having much combat experience but definitely being able to build a rocket launcher. However,the Veteran Ferryman (The one from 5-2) could’ve ambushed this newer,less experienced Ferryman,proceeding to kill them and taking their skull as prize. As to why they left the rocket launcher there,i would assume that they simply did not know how to use it. Dumbass 1700’s mofo

I believe that the faryman with the rocket launcher was the one that was overthrown, it makes sense when you think of the relatively low speed of the rockets, and the high speed of the current faryman, also the fact that the current faryman survived.

u can throw a marksman coin at the ferryman to make him not fight u and u can end the level without fighting him to complete the challenge,it has some lore btw so watch a video about it

i thought that in ultrakill universe there is 4 ferrymen type Blue, red, green and purple Blue and red skulls - open doors Green skull is seen on the very cancerous rodent so i had a theory that green's ferryman skull revives the enemies And purple skull is seen in clash mode which gives Immortality and (maybe) makes you faster so basically purple ferryman's skull makes you immortal meaning purple ferryman immortal himself... no, idiot, this is not THE charon nor any other mythic ferryman, it is a generic ferryman charon is a ferryman and a named one that may or may not appear in ultrakill (most unlikely), ferrymen in general are just people who must've done similar enough things or been similar enough to have a ferryman form for their husk form
