Tarzan’s peaceful life with the Punyas is interrupted when a Senegalese man comes searching for his help. This Senegalese, Mirabo, asks Tarzan for help against the strange disappearance of his men. Amazon women of the Kahali are using eery music to cast a spell, which allows them to capture men, whom they sacrifice. Both Tarzan and Mirabo fall under the spell and are captured. They must then use subterfuge to escape the Amazons’ city of "man killers."
