God Bless that nurse! I cannot fathom treating my own child the way your mother treated you. I'd go to the end of earth for my kids. You did not deserve any of that and you are worthy of love and a beautiful life.

Having a narcissistic mother sets You up for domestic violence and mental abuse ; this is my experience too. And , Yes, there were outsiders that helped me too. God saved me! I couldn’t have gotten out myself….. Women in these situations actually have brain damage: the brain cannot hold two different pictures of the same person You have a intimate relationship with, ie both the image of the love bombing partner and the image of a dangerous predator. Thus the brain closes down and the woman is in confusion & depression and cannot think properly - she needs to be lifted out of her situation. I am sorry that I can’t recall the sources where I learnt this, but it is all science and anybody with some effort could find out about this research. Best wishes for healing ❣️

You did the right thing about the money. I was stuck in another state when I was a teenager and I needed to get home so I got the money and bought a bus ticket and I mailed back ALL the money I used along with the receipt for the ticket and the money that was left and some Xtra and the wallet back to the address on the driver's license. It took longer than I wanted but I sent it back. If not for that there is no telling what could've happened.

Thank you for saying the same thing I've been saying for 30 years... I can't repeat what you said but it was freeing ❤❤ it's so hard to think i was the only person that thought that way because why on earth would bringing another person into something that will repeat over and over.... When I clearly know how bad it was and I hid for a long time to save myself because I knew my son needs me when he is older ❤❤ just thanks so much❤❤❤ exactly plus I removed myself ❤❤ from my mother also
