Looks ace, was hoping for a little more on the 21t pinion but faster you go the more room/less curbs/more grip is needed

Infraction speed pinion is 27t and does 90mph… so this with a 21t was pretty quick!

Where do i get the 21t pinion from. And what's the highest you've used. I'm currently using the 14t love it

I was exited to watch the video and the car running but then I saw Siemens Energy in the background and now you are my favorite channel (I work for Siemens Mobility in the US and I’m really happy to see the company name in the back)

It's such a beautiful RC. Certainly super fast and if they can under cut the price of an Arrma street car and be as tough as an Arrma street car, they may have a real contender there. Awesome. I'd love to see a heads up race between it and a felony and an infraction.

Yeah, as soon as you make a small mistake… it can get crazy pretty fast haha

This larger scale hitting 100 kph, that's the speed limit on our major highways here in Ontario. Can you imagine cruising along on the highway and look down and see you're being paced by an r/c car? hahaha

Wow 😮 the thing is a beast !!!!

That's freaking badass, I thought it was a felony.. Great looking body..

I was worried there when it was only doing low speeds on the 14 tooth pinion. Seeing as people are getting 90MPH out of the Felony with the speed pinion. 80MPH on the 21 tooth though restored my faith.

Smashed it there Phil, FTX have done seriously great job with this car, for my money is one of the best new RC Cars of the last 12months👍

A bit late to the party mate but that car is awesome. Saw it at our local shop and it looks awesome... Be nice to see a side by side of that and the infraction on the same gearing and tyres....

After i got my hands on the FTX Outback Tracker they went way up in my estimations. This is next on my list.

just picked up a Felony 6s because they don't ship these to the states, damn these on road cars are pretty fun!

It definitely looks like it handles very well. I'm really liking that car Plus you can't go wrong with a mustang.😊

Hey man, I’m looking at getting a budget kit build rc crawler. Preferably one that is just a chassis (no motor esc servos wheels etc) price range is about £215

The silver hoons on this rig definitely seem more like drift tyres🤣 And needs a bit of DF work for speed😬130kph+ isn't bad at all just changing the pinion🤘 Awesome

What's the charging set-up you have in the boot? Is it just a charger plugged into inverter using the car battery as source?

Noice! I reckon foam race tires would give you more confidence to go a little faster.

I want to get a chassis like that for my 62'corvette convertible 1/7th scale it maybe 1)6th but i measure it about 18-19 inches long sobim not sure but you have awesome videos and projects and vehicle and test runs great work bro

I’ll be putting the stock ones back on when the arrive in the UK. And batteries were CNHL and then some Turnigy… both perform well

Still undecided.. the Infraction is a beast, but still a 100-200 more than this. So would come down to cost I guess

nice runs.. what pitch pinion does it need and is it a 5mm shaft please? be interesting to try a 24T and see the difference.

Hi great video and awesome car. I'm in the market for a new rc car, I'm torn between this and the arrma infraction. Most reviews say the infraction is better but it's also £200 more expensive over here in the uk, for that I could upgrade this car or buy more lipos or an extra body shell. Any advice? 👍🏻

Great video Phil. That thing is a beast. Should've used the EX07 wheels. I would imagine they have a bit more traction than the silver hoons. Try using the Arrma speed pinions to see how powerful the motor is compared to the Arrma motor.

The rears are taller though… so may have messed the Diff up. EX07 are all the same size

@@TomleyRC ahhh. I see. Square set up while other 1/7 are staggered. Out the box, I think this FTX is quite a bit faster than the EX07 if they ran on the same pinion.

Does the back end tend to swing around/oversteer when turning like the Felony or does it drive more like an Infraction?

Talking of speed. I messaged the guy who holds the worlds speed record. I said my modified 4s Typhon could go beyond that I think. He said in what way have you modified your little car. I replied that I put on a couple of electric jet fans. I also said last year on a certain RAF runway, I got to 178mph and that was on half throttle. If I went any faster, my tires would have gone. He said my combo of electric motor and jet fans is good but it would not qualify for the speed record. But it's still an RC car.

One my 3 sets of tires man those tires b smokeing...🤣🤣🤘🍻

@@TomleyRC seems to be their pattern, they release with one or 2 colours, then 6-8 months later a clear body will come out A clear body painted in Vaughn Gittin Jr, team RTR , formula drift championship winning colours would be stunning

AliExpress has an extremely similar car if not exactly the same and I wonder if it is just a rebranded model called an FSR 1/7 Mustang GT Flat Sports Car that comes in Blue or Silver. It is $841.62AU plus $109.39AU for shipping making it $951.01AU in total is just a little bit cheaper than anywhere else I have seen for it and I would get one myself as all the specs are identical to the FTX model.

Speed kills- drive a Ford‼️🤣 it would be awesome with a corvette or Z28 camaro body. Another great video‼️👍👍🦾🦾
