I love Audrey Hepburn-- everything about her! I wish actresses would age like this still. It seems like everyone over 50 (or even 40) in Hollywood looks so hard b/c of all the fillers and tightening they do. And they don't smile on the red carpet anymore for fear of showing or getting wrinkles! She was beautiful, real, and classy. I think that's a big part of why she's timeless.

Well, He / she simply knows how to offer his / her empathetic ears and understanding heart to his/ her clients to dress them according to their personalities . It is like inviting his/ her clients to wear this invisible Perfume that invite them to let go and be themselves . Givenchy for sure was one of them.Irresistible Givenchy 👌✅👍😍❤️ Love from a beautiful timeless bellicima lady full of class and elegance and grace and finesse ❤ Many thanks ❤️🌟✨⭐️❤️.

This adds an extra perspective to the Audrey Hepburn iconic style, her relationship with Givenchy and how the wardrobe helped her self-esteem. I wonder how much Hepburn helped Americans take to French couture so that now it is wedded to classic and daring style.

She wore Hubert's clothes with great posture, also she moves like a dancer and because of the body features you can clearly see her emotive gestures. She also knew how to draw attention to her face, so it involves courage as well. In the time that woman keeping ridiculously long hair, she went pixie for movie roles. The difference between Audrey and so many zillion stars around her also lies in her distinctive voice. On top of it she is a polyglot.... thus unique. Too unique that it is impossible to replicate.

As American commentators they nail most of it but they don't mention a critical European common element of the partnership: class. Audrey and Hubert were both from aristocratic families - she on her mother's side (not her father's). They were both top-end, privately educated and had classical arts backgrounds. They were both respectful of history and both breaking free of it post war and being radical. There isn't really any other successful female star in Hollywood with Audrey's background (though there are directors, designers and composers etc) The closest is probably Grace Kelly, upper class American who went on to marry into minor European royalty, so she went the other way. Class - what used to be called breeding - is important here because it bonded them and gave them both innate self-confidence and effortless charm.

'Class - what used to be called breeding' is probably too elitist a concept to convey the timeless appeal of their partnership. Probably too elitist for Americans and certainly too elitist for me. The 'well-bred' are very often leaders with the will and means to lead but none of the actual skills.
