Love seeing immigrants achieve the American Dream. Munchies should do a show on successful immigrant food businesses

Born and raised in New York and I never knew Nuts 4 Nuts was a company. Always thought they operated independently and could've sworn there were more than 60 carts out there...

Everyone forgotten about the fights he has to do to defend his stall and business from the aggressive drugged up drunk and homeless people. I really respect streetworkers they have to put up with so much from crazy people who wont leave them alone to do business for paying customers and attack them and their cart for no reason or demanding free food/money. As a retail worker in a store atleast I could walk away or call for manager help from a crazy situation to calm it down but they are alone stuck on their corner of the street open for anything to happen to them at any time. Respect for anyone that can tough out dangerous situations on the job and keep on going.

The owner came into America as an illegal immigrant. He got his citizenship, and now look where he is. If you follow the rules, things will work out the way you want.

He became a resident in 1992 and a citizen in 2000. The guy who brings delicious treats to New Yorkers had to illegally cross into the country and work for 8 YEARS to be declared a legal citizen. That hard work, dedication to a dream, and followthrough is what it means to be American. Respect you, brother.

I used to work in a restaurant that had one of these guys just outside, he was always super nice so during the winter I bring him out coffee and he would always bring the staff a bunch of bags of nuts when he would shut down for the night (the same time as the restaurant).

My dad worked for Alejandro in the 90's. He got very sick because it was one of his first years working himself in the U.S but he always talks so highly of his first job and how kind Alejandro was. Nuts 4 Nuts holds a special place in my heart. It was the backbone of my family's first year in the U.S. Thank you for this!

God! I can't tell you how much I love this segment from Munchies. It shows real and extraordinary people from all walks of life who happens to find passion on sharing to others their thoughts and love for their own country through food. And that's amazing really! I wish I could meet all these people, taste their foods and see the world they are in thru my own eyes. 💜
