Again I am here to listen attentively to my economic "professor". Oflate Wanjigi has made me to have an ear that is very attentive to the developing political- economic affairs facing Kenya. Perhaps, my interest has been developed by his simplicity of him teaching a subject that many would regard to as being complex, as well as; by the fact that he is bold enough to address a subject that many would regard to as sensitive and classified. I am enjoying this class and I am convinced that I am a happy student whose time and curiosity to be informed has been well rewarded.

Me too, several months down the line. I am European, Northern European, and as such I don't know corruption, but Wanjigi is an absolute soldier in country ravaged by corruption. He s smart, well-educated, well-trained, knowledgeable, educative by any standard. The problem is that Kenyans in general don't give a s*** that they are being looted to the ground by their own people.

Am surprised that Yvonne seems to think that the IMF and the world bank are trustworthy institutions. You cannot delegate your duty and right to scrutinize your government's accounts to external bodies which happen to have their own interests. That's why we are still slaves to the west up to this day. If there is an important lesson in life anybody needs to learn, then it is that TRUST is a manipulative word used by those who want you to let your guard down!! You can guess what they will do to you when that happens . If you are determined to do something, just do the thing. Trust won't do it for you!!

Yvonne is not a trained journalist. She is trained in sciences and puts hard logic ahead of flow. This lady is a biochemist! And she is interviewing Wanjigi with the mind of a biochemist. Wanjigi, on the other hand, loves drama. Even his mode of expression is full of drama. That's why the two minds could not meet. Next time they meet in an interview, let Yvonne raise drama level in her questions with Wanjigi lowering the same and putting more logic.

Jimmy came very prepared and ready to talk to viewers and she allowed him to speak. Yes, she sometimes interjected with her probes, but she also did cut short the interjections to allow Jimmy to speak. Jimmy did also make some serious assertions that needed to be clarified for the average viewer to follow. It was an INTERVIEW, NOT a SPEECH! Both Yvonne and Jimmy did very well!

Neither. Kenyans understand what Jimmy is saying very well both theoretically and through experience - the increased cost of living over the last year. Our issue is that we're too docile to do anything serious about it i.e. a tax boycott or finding some other way to force the government's hand to address these issues. Our issue is our 'bora uhai' mentality where we'll take all types of abuse without fighting back. If we don't take this opportunity to change things with the information Jimmy is bringing, the only other option is a total collapse of this country with the way Zakayo is taking us.

28:59 this lady is essentially fishing for a 'gotcha' moment rather than listening to what Wanjigi has to say. She keeps trying to get him to incriminate our donors and IMF into this scandal. Githeri media journalism at its best, ladies and gentlemen

He was not allowed to run. Something to do with academic certificates. Jimmy is not well invested in academic papers. But as he has stated before, he is a voracious reader and somehow knows how to crunch figures faster and more accurately than most economists flaunting academic papers.

WHY YVONNE IS UNDER SIEGE Making an assertion she dint care to justify, Yvonne assumed the role of a politician, not a journalist. She attempted to redefine Mr. Wanjigis dossier as just a breach of procedure, not the law. That Mr. Wanjigi had to salvage his message many times from this attack affirms intent on Yvonnes part to mutilate the dossier. She would have to be incompetent to call it "journalism or inquisitiveness", many could call it compromised, but unlike her, they would want us to justify that would they not? .. Yvonne dear, breach of procedure is not criminal, the whole show Mr. Wanjigi is prosecuting a crime, what are you gaining insisting otherwise.

That's a lie. There were no signs of collusion before elections neither are they there after elections. The extent to which Ruto has gone to cut Uhuru and Kenyatta family to size after elections is not indicative of any collusion. And in any case, they didn't need to collude. Uhuruto partnership was solid enough to clinch the Presidency (be it by hook or by crook) and did not need rocking the boat through the handshake. Your supposition is not making any sense.
