It is genuinely upsetting that Caddy’s Older Videos brought him so much misery. For me and many of my friends they brought so much laughter and joy but that just shows that the whole KZread business is way harder than it looks no matter the final output. I’m so glad you switched to the new format which I’ve found just as fun if not incredibly addicting to binge watch so Godspeed Caddy.

Also, the path was likely recorded in reverse, meaning he actually walked from the living room to the computer room, then reversed it to appear he's coming from the computer room to the living room.. the mad lad.

It is for the sake of the joke, but it's not a fire hazard for many reasons. One, the biggest load is that computer which maybe is 500W, and there's other stuff like a TV and thing, which together may be about 1200W or 5A on 230V. The plug has a 13A fuse, so right out of the gate it's less dangerous. The thing I would worry about is the flippin' power consumption of those electronics and also don't forget the standby consumptions. If I was him, I'd turn of the sockets. It has a switch on it for a reason!!!

I admit I've maybe rewatched most of Caddy's videos "too many" times, but I can't help it. They're perfect background noise for me...and a perfect sense of humor to rewatch just for fun too. Caddy is truly awesome, although his format has changed a bit his style and jokes haven’t. It’s honestly seamless whenever you go back through his catalogue. The only differences are where he records, what he looks like and the way he presents his videos/critiques games. I always go back to my favorites whenever he uploads and all of his stuff from the past decade is just pure gold. He’s a comfort channel and I can’t thank this lovely bearded man more for what games or subjects he’s brought to my attention.

I appreciate it, thank you. For me though, it's not JUST the quality of the videos themselves. For any creative person, that goes without saying. There's a lot of heavy underlying personal reasons why I have chosen to distance myself from pre-2020 videos. Family reasons, life event reasons, mental health reasons, etc. I've come through all of it and everything is totally okay, but I've got far too many awful memories from my worklife before 2020 for me to look back that fondly - and all I see when catching clips from older videos is exactly where I was and what was happening when I was making that specific video. When people quote certain lines from older videos at me, all I hear are influences from very bad people in my life. Even with something as silly as the game topics I covered back then, all I think of are the manipulative ideas from very bad people in my life, hahaha. I'm rambling though, sorry! I'm proud of what I have done in the past, and I have loved all the great memories I've made with things outside of the channel (conventions etc), but I very much prefer to keep looking to the future. Can't live in the past n all that shit

I started watching because of my boyfriend at the time, when I was around 19-20 years old. I remember we would sit and watch together. We specially loved the videos that included caddy's sister because they were so funny together and we would repeat parts of the videos until they became inside jokes. I found the channel again a few months ago (even though I was subscribed I hadn't watched in years -I'm 29 now) in my recommended with the jesus video. I enjoyed it so much and proceeded to watch all the other new-ish videos. It's amazing because the videos and caddy himself are so different, but still have the same kind of humour that makes me pause the video to laugh out loud. I think is one of the rare cases of the content growing up with you

Yes his editing process alone takes up so much time, but is in product definitely shows it! 💪

The fact that sponsors are legally required to have a sentient flying kite with hands and shoes appear for you to promote their product is so amazing, and I love it. For real, as always, I love seeing the behind the scenes of any content creator, seeing all the usually overlooked hard work that goes into the stuff we enjoy is always a blast and helps us understand the side of the people we love. On a related note, thanks for the 10 years of amazing laughs Cadds, and congrats on 1million! You deserve it buddy! Here's to more great times.

Honestly, this man deserves all the success he's achieved and more. The dedication is insane.

God, imagining some of the weird interactions with people who see you doing the crazy shit you do for your videos is almost funnier than the bit themselves, but also I salute you for being able to go through all that and still continue to do it without being paranoid about getting seen, like I would be if I tried to do most of it.

I find it impressive that Caddy keeps creative one-off characters so seamlessly.

I was lucky enough to chat to caddy about his career on the podcast on my channel, and hearing him go even more into detail about the difficulties of his job in detail in a video on his channel is really nice. With any luck now people won't complain about his upload schedule. He's not too much older than me, but I grew up watching James and he's genuinely one of the greatest on this site to ever do it. We love you caddy 🙏🏻

As a new Caddicarus fan, I think I can safely say is his quality over quality is absolutely the right way to go about the videos he makes! I do re watch/ listen if I need something I know I'm always going to laugh at no matter how many times I watch them! Love your work! Can't wait for the next!

ITS a scam

One thing I really like is seeing your setups and how a lot of it is you working around your family, i.e. waiting til late and filming parts, setting up your streaming/filming in the front room and having to put it all back once you’ve finished, along with getting family members involved to help out. It’s all rather wholesome. Also quite liked how you show just how much work/time/money/effort goes in to every video.

This man makes stupid addictive videos, the fast editing, the energy, the humour, the content THE 🐐. The amount of information flooding in makes my brain tingle
