Well, these Lousy Jittery Nutjobs didn't actually develop any of the games, they only published them (and thank God, because something tells me if they did develop these things, we would get evil incarnate sealed in cartridges), so it's sort of a curse really. Maybe there was pressure to rush the games, who knows.

Caddydaddy and AVGN vs LJN and Phoenix. That sure has the potential to be the greatest anime battle of all time.

I just wish there were more ytp's of Scott, Peebs, and Caddy. But the ones I have seen were pretty good, and feel like they could be actual Caddicarus episodes.

You know what? It's official, Toys for Bob is the little engine that could of game companies. One of those groups that, even when thier games weren't perfect or powerful, you could see the passion and how hard they at least tried to make something passible. And not only did the engine make it over the hill, but rolled on into the sunset western style.

@@Icalasari I did a quick search and they were acquired by Activision in 2005. They seem to be doing well for themselves but don't really work on new IPs, instead they worked on Skylanders until that hit its peak and then they only worked on remakes of old IPs.

Fun fact: The Simpsons Skateboarding was programmed by the same guys who did all the Phoenix games. This explains a lot, doesn't it?

I loved Thrasher Skate & Destroy. Took a while to get used to its fubar controls, but at the end of your run when it would change perspective to the cop chasing you, who came out of nowhere, genuinely surprised the hell outta me the first time it happened

Thrasher was actually much fun in my childhood. And the destroy aspect you are missing are some missions were you have to score points by crashing and breaking bones. Was awesome in the level with the train 😂

Fun fact about Tony Hawk's Proskater 5: it was Made entirely to be able to hold onto the rights in so little time that Most of the Game was simply unable to be put onto the disc to have it be printed in time, Hence the massive Patch. It was entirely a result of Publisher greed, and i honestly feel sorry For the devs Who were forced to make it

From what I gathered Pro Skater 5 was only released to finish the contract they had with Tony Hawk. It's a shame because everyone was so hyped to revisit the series. Would love a Pro Skater 6 as it's been 8 years now since one

This video is 70 minutes long, and Caddy is still talking a nautical mile a minute to fit in everything he wants to say. There’s easily enough material for 15 normal-lenght videos, and yet he doesn’t divide this into a dozen parts and publish them all back to back, unlike some channels that only want more clicks. Some tips on Skate or Die: Freestyle: while riding across the bottom of the pipe, you hit either A or B (I forget which) a certain number of times based on the skill you want to do, then I think hold left or right while going up to select a trick, then line up when going back down. The spin trick you were trying to do is the hardest to line back up; the rest are way easier. Downhill Jam: hold the attack button and then hit the arrow for the direction to attack to prevent turning issues. Back before the SNES was released, I played so much Skate or Die, and got really good at it. Not sure how good I'd be now; games these days have so much forgivable of controls. Oh yeah, and Ultra also released a Skate or Die 2 game, as well as Ski or Die.

Session is feeling good now 3 years later. Hard, but extremely satisfying once you get the hang of it

@WPXI NEWS Pittsburgh I won't say that isn't true, I'm well aware that the game side has died over the years. But they did have some gems in there (notably Cul-De-Sack Smash, and Super Hero Squad Stark Tower Defence), and I think calling all CN games bad is a bit misleading.

I'm really happy seeing a positive review of Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure in here. I had many fond memories of that game growing up and when I got the game officially in my hands I wasted three days beating it. Just so I could unlock all the music videos and stuff. Update: Pro Skater 5 was also one of those games that needed you to be online in order to play it at all if you had an internet connection, even playing solo. This is stupid enough, but it gets even dumber when you realize the servers have been shut down, making it impossible to play the game without completely disabling your console's internet.

Why is Caddy deliberately scaring away the bricks? They got married.

That's what I thought too. I haven't used the Kinect in a while but IIRC when you boot up any Kinect game, one of the general information is that you should cover the windows if the sun is shining in.

So good to see airblade get a shout out, it was the only game me and my dad actually played together on the ps2, we originally played it on a demo disc but both of us liked it so much he decided to buy the full game the week after, the only gaming memory I have with him.

I once matched with a girl on Tinder who said her ideal first date was "playing Thrasher Skate and Destroy" together. Told her I had the Tony Hawk PS1 games we could play instead and got left on read. Seeing the gameplay, it was probably for the better.
