Of all the characters on Yellowstone, Kacey and Monica have the most real on screen relationship on this series. Both characters (and their son) add a tremendous amount of realism and the variety of what life gives us. Without going into the character developments and replays of the show, I believe people can understand the complexities of a husband and wife from two very different backgrounds and still make their marriage work under the stresses of western living and troubles making a livable wage. You have to be a person with a strong will and perseverance to make a serious go at it. These actors do a tremendous job of providing that view to us on screen. They help make this Yellowstone series worth watching.

At least one important scene is missing: When their son was kidnapped, she asked Kasey not only to get him back but to kill the kidnappers. That's the point when she realized that she's not that different at all.

Whatever people saying, I like Monica just like I like Beth and Lynelle. So different yet equally admirable in their most human ways. Sometimes, a girl just wanna watch a good series with some solid characters and Yellowstone delivered.

the hospitial scene was heart breaking. This show was so good at showing emotions though the screen. I have cried so many times to this show with the music and the acting

It must have been painful for Dutton to hear his grand son says that he had a brother and his parent named him John. He took it as they named it after him...

I lived where John learned the baby's name and when he talked to Monica at the baby's grave. It brought back a very sad time for me, but said how we manage to continue.😢

Best series ever. It’s a shame it’s ending.

For all that this show is frequently batshit insane, occasionally you get a grounded moment like the graveside chat between John and Monica where the writing and acting come together perfectly.

So glad to see she didn't die running in the snow!

Reading a lot of comments about Monica saying, "Oh, she's whiny" and "she's mopey". Need I remind everyone that her brother was killed in the first episode and that her sister committed suicide in the second episode? What kind of psychological damage would that do to you if you weren't used to it? How would you react? Or, the bigger question: what if she was acting out as a mental response to those traumas?

I think Monica and John's relationship is my favorite in the show cuz it doesn't make any sense how well the communicate with each other.... Yet it's the easiest to understand

I think a lot of people miss understand & don’t give her the credit. I’m not mad on her but she’s more than a whiny little girl.

John and Monica could just say hello to each other and id start weeping. Those two crush every emotional scene they have together. Kinda makes me think John was a sweeter man when his wife was around bc a good woman always pulls out his absolute best side

At 8:00, Beth reminds me of the posters I saw at the Metro stops in northern England between South Shields and New Castle. So many had women with bruised faces. They were public awareness posters because domestic violence was so common in northern England. Down south, apparently not as much.

I’d recommend (not that you asked) rewatching the show The both tried to make each other happy and tolerated the not great parts of each other They were loyal to one another and gave one to the other Give it another watch😊

Why was Yellowstone removed from Paramount Network? The Prequel's are available, but not the main show?

Yellowstone character Monica looks great in her middle length hair but a smaller hairstyle correction Monica would look even more pretty with a bang or A-line Bob hairstyle could be a real eye catcher on television screen.

Monica is one of the few nice people in this story.

Monica teeter Beth all 3 totally different characters all great and all 3 drop dead gorgeous. 3 totally different looks and types of ladies but all 3 beautiful strong sexy and just great. I guess I have no type when it comes to the ladies I Love all 3 and they are all so different in looks personality body types but all to die for. Casting was top flight on this series across the board but especially the female casting.

Monica "my relatives live in smaller houses than this room" you mean your brother who killed kayces brother and tried to kill Kacie? Or your sister in law that ended her life in the same room as her kids? Or the meth lab that blew up or countless other problems. Nothing was ever good enough for Monica, kayce was always embracing Monica's heritage but never willing to open her eyes to his. Been watching Yellowstone since day one and could never stand Monica. She doesn't like the buttons but has no problem taking the perks, like the job John got her which led to an apartment and new clothes. Or having their child buried in Dutton cemetery, and her whole tribe can be there but the duttons, actual family cant be ? They were able to get their own house because of the job Kacie and .Monica have. And they both have those jobs because of John Dutton. Or the fact that when Monica is at the ranch she wears boots, belt buckle and the cowgirl setup but when she's in the reservation she wears native clothes. Be who you are don't try to fit it or impress anyone.

I love her as a person very much. But in real life, she is a real red flag to avoid at all costs. Never happy. Always complaining. Always seeking problems and trying to run away from them instead of facing them. Always bitching about something!
