There is only one Kevin Costner, decades of being the great actor he is. NO One will fill his shoes, a sad ending for this show. Kevin Costner will take many fans with him, the cast of Yellowstone is great, and one can only hope for all of them they can make this fly.

Kevin pleeeze take the reins and write a finale for Yellowstone. You might have to do 1 or 3 episodes to season 5 part 2 but I know you can do it. Hopefully you don't have a non-compete cause in your yellowstone contract. Put that nail in Taylor's coffin once and for all.!!! Use your right and take him to court!~! You're fans are behind you.

This is all BullShit , Sheridan had plenty of time before the writers strike to have these final episodes in the can. He dropped the ball. I was a loyal watcher of this series, but I'm not waiting two years to watch it.

dezford5408 - I’ve read on other Internet Entertainment sites that it was Paramount’s decision to split Season 5. That’s one of the MAJOR issues that Costner had with the filming schedule, because he already had plans to start filming “Horizon” and would be almost impossible to come back and film Season 5-Pt. 2.

Kudos to you ! You are so right we have to wait years for the finale!?!? I was a loyal fan too but no longer. I've moved on. And pleeze for get Matthew McCounaghy out of Yellow stone!!! He doesn't belong there . There are so many more actors with western appeal, and experience and are able to ride a horse without constantly looking at him self. He is such a narcissist. Just read his boo Green Lights if you don't believe me. It's al about him him him!

Sheridan should finish something he started people just loose interest if there is no Costner there is no Yellowstone Mathew M just doesn’t have it in him

Tate Dutton will have grown to 6" 2" tall and have a full beard by the time the 2nd half of Season 5 comes out.

How does this show expect to keep an audience until Nov. of '24? There are far too many entertainment channels out there for us to wait on one show, and too much in this troubled world to care about resumed storylines being a maybe. Taylor got way over his head with this franchise, and faces audience loss of interest.

Talk to people like me who DO NOT have Streaming service. Jumped in to season 1 just because it was Keven Cosner didn't know what Yellow Stone was. Bought it and 😳 it was GREAT.

I watched Yellowstone every single day. I’ve seen it 10 times I love the acting and most of all the scenery. I don’t know what it is. I start watching another channel and I always go back to Yellowstone. I love it please don’t end it.

Why is it that actors on a show don’t give a dad gum about the audience that loves the show. Witness we are the ones left holding a stick. We love the show. We support the show. We tell others to watch the show and then there’s big headed actress go oh well, we’re gonna quit the heck with the people that like us such a shame such a shame, these actors forget where they came from how hard they were to get where they were to get people to love their show and then they go OK to heck with the people we’re gonna leave bye-bye shame shame shame on y’all

I think Yellowstone could have gone another 2 or 3 seasons if they had handled it right. My opinion of the spinoffs, 1883 was pretty good but the others just didn't do it for me. Why there hasn't been a Sicario 3 is puzzling to me too. I think Sheridan is a great writer but maybe cares more what he wants than what the fans want.

I love the Teeter (she is my favorite) and Colby, and Beth and RIP, storylines most. Kacey, and his son too. They should make a show together..whatever the dialog. I'd watch it. 😊

Very happy about the new episodes of Yellowstone. Amazing cast as. But with Matthew joining the cast can only add more talent in the mix. I have not enjoyed such a captivating series due to the cast. Love the show.

Getting tired of the same old thing, not telling us anything about what the caption was suppose to be. Taylor needs to finish Yellowstone before anything else, like he should've done in the first place. Then we might still have seasons 6 and 7 of Yellowstone. It's sad that one person can miss up the whole story, as far as I'm concerned Taylor is to blame. 1923 was a great big disappointment after 1883. Hope Taylor has a lot of luck with the future series, I'm going to ask around before I spend anymore money and time on Taylor's shows.

Been waiting to see the nineteen twenty three follow up from where they left off and nothing , waiting to see what happens with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford and Cassandra being pregnant etc, some good story lines but the show is all over the place, never seen so much half fast material anyone else would be fired from their employment if they left three of their jobs half finished over and over again.

Costner had family problems and wanted more time at home. He and his wife are getting divorced and he has three young kids that he has to focus on now.

Love the show.

I've already given up on watching anymore of Yellowstone, as I can't even hardly remember what all went on. But if they're adding Matthew McCaunahy(sp?)(see? Shows just how unimpressed with him I am) I'm definitely not going to be watching. Besides, there's lots of other stuff to watch.

I’m still a fan of Yellowstone and look forward to the rest of season 5. Too bad Costner doesn’t care about his fans or his fellow actors. He could have made a much better decision.

Kevin does care about his fans. That is why he is coming out with a western for the big screen that will be so much better than Taylor could ever produce! Taylor is such a child! I see Oscar and Golden glove in the future for Kevin and his new production. Can't wait to see it!!!

I've grown tired of this show. The best thing they could do where I'm concerned is cut the show. Really it became the same old s__ t just another day.

Costner doesn't make yellowstone the great show it is, he's just a part and the series could go on for a long time given the right storyline and additions.

This show turned into a real bummer,could have been a great show without all the smut! Showing people the real cowboy life and territories! I’m off the tube for this show!

I have sold my collection of Yellowstone and could care less what happens. I refuse to watch anything Taylor Sheridan puts out anymore. He is one that gets bored with one thing and starts another.

Costner wants to continue Yellowstone as much as John Dutton wants to be Governor.

I wouldn’t work for Sheridan since he’s so scattered brained and can’t concentrate on the main show. Now we won’t know what happens to Rip, Beth, Teeter and Colby.

I quit! Love Yellowstone but it takes too long from 1 season to the next.now season 5 second part is not until 2024 is ridiculous & it airs on paramount+. If Casey, Rip & Beth are not in 6666 i have my doubts it will be worth watching

Taylor Sheridan never finishes what he starts. Still waiting on the 1923 series. A new one he wrote just started but I'm not going to watch it. All his series is short lived on TV and long waits to return and finish. DONE with his stuff.

Seems like the strike would have given a chance to get caught up on some stuff- idk. I agree Taylor stretched himself too thin too fast- too many teases & no follow thru of the series- like the other comment stated - what happened to 1823- & what about the series on the 666s in Tx. Also tired of this flipping around between paramount & paramount+ - if im paying for one that shud be enough to see all- cancelling the excess- yellowstone is main reason i kept paramount for as long as i have- waiting until 2024 - i can wait until it eventually shows up elsewhere most likely- its been to long of a wait already - the waiting has been tedious thus far - but now its just ridiculous- imo. I think the story of yellowstone & The Duttons could easily😂 be carried on by the characters already in place & just get a replacement to play john - would miss KC but geez its past time to get on with things!! ( rant over)

Not sure if it was the writers strike air if Sheridan is just flaky! Waiting another year to watch Yellowstone I'm over it. Good news there is always something else to watch. All of Sheridan's series are 2yrs behind. Don't start if you can't finish.

It's about time Season 5 Pt 2 was ready.... Will it really happen this November? I paid for both halves back in 2022 and I'd like to get my money's worth. And while we're wondering what happens next, let's forget 1944 for a moment and wonder where the second season of 1923 is. And what about "Four Sixes"?

I'm looking forward to the Season 5 and would like to enjoy the spin offs. Hope they don't only show them on a pay station

Unfortunately I might die of old age by the time it comes out. I hate getting into a series then have to wait a year or two for the next season, I lose interest.

Thanks so much for the info. I was in rehab after a life threatening illness when Yellowstone started and after some research I really want to watch the whole series. Just hope I can afford it . I’m in a wheelchair now and on disability. Taking about 12 meds and the disability doesn’t go very far. lol But thank you for the info. Diane

Several place have the series on DVD. Reckon you can get all except season 5.

I enjoyed Yellowstone. I was very disappointed in the interruption to completion of Season 5. Although Costner added a lot to the show, I believe it would survive just fine if he does not return. There are a lot of good actors/actresses in this series.

Good luck with that.

I don't fault Kevin for wanting to move on. He was probably just sick of Taylor and his incompetency and his inability to focus and finish a project. Everyone should just wait and be wowed by Kevin's new western!!! At least he has dates for completion.
