Mark sitting in the back and just smiling as he watches Chet Atkins and the Everley Bros play his song. Great moment and just shows the respect mark shows to fellow musicians, no showboating or trying to interfere with the moment.

This song is simply stunning and look at that stage full of music talent. Even Michael McDonald back there on piano. The Everly's Chet Atkins, and genius Mark Knopfler. Geez. Fantastic pick Agnete and reaction Harri.

What a wonderful plethora of talent spanning generations and genres of musical excellence. Mark Knopfler actually wrote this song with The Everly Brothers in mind and is probably one of his best songs. From the Spanish guitar intro by Chet Atkins, the magical harmonies of the Everly Brothers and Mark's elevated guitar excellence for a perfect performance. Love your happy laugh of great appreciation Harri. Thanks Harri and Agnete. Fantastic. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Such simple love song, sung with beautiful harmony. Mark writes lovely lyrics and music. This, too, is my favourite Mark Knopfler piece. It still moves me to tears. He did indeed write this with the Everly Brothers in mind. Part of his remarkable genius is the ability to create the music to work with the emotion and other players. Check out the OST for The Princess Bride. Or better yet watch the movie first. Mark wrote the sound track.

The Everlys were a great duo until they stopped touring in 2005. They may not have had records that charted in the Top 40 but they still toured and they put out three wonderful albums in the 1980s that are definitely worth listening to. Even though they’re both gone now, the Everlys are still the best duo ever. No one can come close to them. Their harmonies were perfection.

I was shocked to see and hear this performance, as I had no knowledge of its' existence before Agnete graced us with this priceless submission. Bravo! Chet Atkin's immense influence on country, rock, and jazz musicians has lasted over half a century, and many of the hit records he produced during his days at RCA are now classics. Chet Atkins was a self-taught guitar virtuoso and multi-instrumentalist, let alone a technical revolutionary. This song was written by Mark Knopfler for The Everly Brothers, both masterful guitarists in their own right. Harri, your response from the onset was a joy to watch.
