Not sure if anyone noticed but in the second scene the guy goes over to Denzel and brings two shot glasses with the bottle on the train and Denzel sees that moves the glasses out of the way and puts his tea kettle in the way instead, the man did it as a kind gesture end Denzel assert himself in the very beginning letting the man know he's not to be fucked with, cool detail.

I grew up watching the Equaliser series played by I think his name was Edward Woodward. I never thought that his brilliant portrayal of Robert Mac could ever be surpassed. Denzel Washington in my opinion is the greatest actor ever. Even when he once played the bad guy in the movie "Training Day" with Ethan Hawk he was brilliant. What an amazing person and actor is Denzel Washington.
