Flour, sugar, even baby powder is flammable when dispersed in concentration in a small area like that. It's wild. I even read that sand does the same if in a fine enough powder. Google, "Georgia sugar refinery explosion". That happened in 2008. All from sugar dust.

Jaby and others frustrates me when they're watching a reaction and points out what they think is incorrect in a setting or tactics not being realistic. It reminds me when Denzel said today's viewers lost fact that we go to the movies for escapism,to get away from reality. I used to serve in tge military and was part of an Air assault unit but me and my friends don't gripe about what isnt 100% accurate in fighting or gun handling. Most war drama, action films i wouldn't enjoy if i nitpick them to death. KZreadrs have to be blamed for the facts that viewers now instead of sitting down watching people are now trying to find things wrong with everything they watch or aren't accurate. I come into movies knowing majority of the situations wouldn't happen in reality i don't need it constantly pointed out.

Yes flour can ignite and explode. It is called a dust explosion. If the dust particles are fine enough and in the proper concentration in the air, they burn and oxidize. Mills and silos are known for this due to the amount of dust that can be kicked up, and then static shock and friction ignite it.

The whole plot of the story Jaby is Denzel's old squad became Mercenaries for higher. The guy that killed the family in Berlin was the same guy in his unit that you saw at the end. This film also gives you more detail into what Robert was. A lot of people who watched these films always shout to figure out. What was he? He was US marine and D. I. A agent. I love the ending fight Pedro. Got everything that he deserved to get even just a whole way. He killed Susan it was ironic. It was karma coming back to him and then Robert just went overkill with him.

Miles wasn't a gangster, he was just a good kid heading down a bad path. And McCall knew it. He wouldn't have offered to paint over the gang graffiti if he wasn't. That's why i was baffled that you guys thought Miles might actually TRY to do something to McCall😅 after seeing what he did to the gang members, & what he said to him in the hallway. I appreciate the scene when he gets in Miles face. Many black boys don't have that male figure to tell it like it is. There are many like Miles, good kids, they just get blinded by their situation. They feel they dont have time for school or a job , they gotta get it now. I thought it was a little story or side lesson that needed to be in a film like this. Robert McCall yelling " You don't know what death is!!!" hits me every time. They think they do , but they don't.

What is flour? Basically, it is grain dust. Grain dust is highly combustible, so a fire or an explosion can happen at a large grain-handling facility or in a grain-storage area on a local farm or ranch. Four basic elements must be present for a grain dust explosion to occur: Fuel: dust particles from wheat, oats, barley, or other types of grain that are suspended in the air or layers of grain dust in a confined space Oxygen: normal oxygen levels and a continuous air supply Confinement: areas of confined space such as grain bins, basement tunnels, bin deck galleries, silos, downspouts, and enclosed drag conveyors Ignition source: short circuits, static electricity, lit cigarettes or lighters, overheated bearings, friction, cutting torches or welding devices, grinder sparks, lightning, and so on

The end of the movie lost me a bit for a few reasons as someone who served in the Marines. You're absolutely correct in calling the dudes out for not having some sort of equipment to deal with flying debris from the storm. The other thing is the optic dave is using on his rifle in the end is a thermal device, which is easy to tell from a 3rd person POV looking at the lenses but when he's looking through the optic it appears as a normal optic. There's a lot more smaller details that really don't make sense at all for someone trained to fight in this kin d of environment and the tactics they use. It was flour, not sugar bags that he cut open. the fans was to spread it into the surrounding air. When you ignite flour as a fine powder in the air it reacts explosively such as sawdust does in a sawmill. Which is why lumber workers go to extreme lengths to manage sawdust and also do not smoke near the mill they work at. This applies to really anything that can be ground to a fine powder, including aluminum for example.

flour or sugar are energy dense, hence why we eat them. When you have enough of these grains circulating in a room and there's enough oxygen for them then they will combust if you introduce fire into the mix. They won't sustain fire if they are heaped up as the grains are shielding the grain below and there isn't enough oxygen. Mythbusters made a creamer cannon based on this Dust Explosion as its called, there's a Wikipedia article too.

Yes, flour dust can be highly flammable and explosive, especially when it's in the air as a cloud of particles. Flour dust can ignite and burn easily if it comes into contact with an ignition source, such as a flame, spark, or overheated motor, gear, or bearing. Flour dust is even more explosive than gunpowder and 35 times more combustible than coal dust.

And he could not have even risked to play the victim if he would have thought of bringing it up in front of any bureaucracy or police/crap like that because he does not has the time to blow off his low persona which he has kept. So he waited till he got the Car under a bridge away from any witnesses and just killed him off.

flour is extremely combustible. Mills can literally explode. on the "gang" not immediately retaliating... they're not the f'n mob. If you've ever actually spent time around low level small gangs (unconnected to a much larger group) .. everything isn't a shootout. And if someone who is obviously like a secret agent or cop or something came in and handled your crew like that, you'd have some pause. plus they didn't lose anything.

I've used it to help start campfires before by putting it in my hand and blowing it through a flame onto the wood. Cool-aid, iced tea, lemonade mix, all work great.
