That was my impression when i was watching the game.i was surprised to hear the amateur commentators called him trying to cheat. Even no-brainer knows the referee would reject the request.

can’t convey this feeling enough..so many morons adding their own commentary or even worse, they pic in pic on the video showing themselves reacting...this is how quality snooker should be viewed.

Make one video of 22nd frame as well... longest frame of crucible history!!

They made the most breaks over 50 in the first rounds: Yan 11 in R1 and Williams 14 in R2.

I agree, they are the new versions of Ronnie and Selby. Yes the Chinese versions. Snooker has a future.

Before Yan is no 1 now in 16th rank but still showing the beast mode I would like to see the match between Yan and Ronnie I don't think it's possible the wonder is how slow Selby is in the 1st position after all a great achievement for him nice to watch the frame I miss Higgins zhao Wilson Trump mark Williams nd the favorite king Ronnie o Sullivan once again the master class editing thank you 👍💞

I came to snooker watching Ronnie, winning in China in 2019 and year before or after, otherwise past his prime (his words) but happy. I watch old O'sullivan matches or S. Same here, and especially playing against Mark Selby, this felt like the wrong shot... Must say it didn't go in cleanly, it's on the right jaw, i.e. the thick side

Wow - what a frame.

Yan seems like such a quality player. Don't see an issue either way with asking the white to be cleaned. If he asked for white and brown to be cleaned then you've stepped over a line. I remember Ronnie using chalk to work out angles. That's alot worse than asking for the white to be cleaned.

I don’t see it being an issue either considering the device the refs have to ensure a precise re-spot. What if the cue ball was dirty and he gets a kick or mis hit due to it ?.

Moving round balls with side like he did on that brown is definitely one of my strengths. I find it super easy.

@@olliefisher5435 Ok maybe you are right in this match, so sorry for that but he is today now suspended for cheating, actually it might be more, it might be he was also actually trying to get others involved and to cheat with him too, that's yet to be determined but the instant suspension is rare with nothing solid. I hope its a life ban, it needs to be stamped out full stop

Mark selby is a very hard snooker player high quality

Reminds me of that Graeme dott brown he potted through pink and blue in the 2012 masters vs Ali carter. Graeme’s shot is more amazing tho

14:22 I don't think that swerved at that speed, I think what happened is it jumped a little, as he hit it low, just enough to miss that far side of the blue that was blocking it, if it was blocking it 🤔🤔🤔

13:55 it clearly a joke...

14:11 I think by hitting down hard on the cue ball, he gave himself a chance to miss the blue by very slightly jumping over it. Impossible for the referee (or anyone) to see with the naked eye whether it actually jumped part of the blue or not. Nevertheless, an outstanding shot with the rest, having no choice but to cheat the pocket to make it go in. Also look at his cueball control on the pink to make sure Mark would've had a tough shot had he missed.

@@mark-147 idk man a tiny jump wouldn't have been good enough to miss the blue. Seeing that a jump would have to be at least half the height of the ball in order to avoid the bulge of the blue ball. Personally I think we were at the mercy of tha camera angle and YB was seeing a clear line of shot from his pov.

@@mark-147 plus its only illegal for the cue ball to jump right over the obstructing ball. Slight jumps on a curve or swerve shots that goes around the obstructing balls are allowed.

I can't see it move. The camera moves a bit just after it passes the blue. Doesn't help!

If you think that you most certainly do not know how to play the game, the loads of left-hand spin Yan put on the cue ball is only going to send it even further away from the blue

The more I look at it, the more convinced I am that the white actually jumped over the blue, which means the shot was a foul. But it's impossible to judge.

Zhao would have folded this frame to Selby .

watching this is so much more enjoyable on mute-turning off that horrible parrott commentary...

both are noob

get rid of parrott-his horrible abrasive voice and comments seriously detracts from enjoyment of the game
