During the early '80s when cleaning was done in the winter time the school heating was not turned on. All the cleaners wore as much clothing as they could to keep warm. We eventually realised this want a good thing and heated the schhol, but all credit to the cleaners they worked in near freezing conditions. Those were good times. This was in the UK.

I feel these factories are getting more sophisticated. I am seeing more and more CNC machines and more test equipment to check functionality. Note to "Harbor Freight": you need to go to these factories👍.

For better or worse, It is normal for this part of the world. All the factories in Asia that do not have proprietary unique differentiation compete with each other for lowest price. If they start heating price goes up and another factory will go lower price without heat ☹.

It’s China, do you think they care about the employees there because I don’t know what’s worse working in China, India or Pakistan or they are all the same where human life has no meaning or worth. Just my opinion of what I’ve seen.

An astonishing lack of PPE or clenliness. Everyone is dressed in winter clothing - owners are too cheap to look after their employees. Just another host of reasons to buy NOTHING from China.

quit spewing out your bullshit, there's nothing astonishing in there, and there's cold days everywhere... go to Texas, or Arizona, any factory that does what they do with equipment of the same age, on a particularly cold day, the day that's not a scheduled video shoot, and it looks the same. you're the one who should go live on China where they appreciate people spewing out uninformed garbage like you do so long as it makes others look bad, or them look good...

not only that, but you don't work there. there's a plethora of occupations, and tasks for which PPE is required in the US as a precedent to an accident, or apparent similarity to something else that makes the job very uncomfortable, tedious, and even more dangerous. go open a OSHA consulting firm in China instead of spewing nonsense on KZread if you care so much, see what happens...

People forget the population of China is 1.4 Billion people - Unemployment rate is only 5% - The U.S population is 333 million with unemployment rate of 4.4% - The U.S is only 23.7% size of China and has almost same unemployment rate - The U.S is 25% as productive as China and in no position to give advice to almost anyone, so STFU.
