Followers of the faith of the seven make several mentions of "the seven heavens" and "the seven hells." people of the iron islands talk about their prospects for reaching "the drowned god's watery halls" after they die. Just like in our world, there is no way to know if any of them are correct.

Cersie Lannister had a lot of ups and downs in my opinion of her. Started off hating her and wishing she got what she deserved, and when she finally did, I felt bad for her. Then she blew up Kings Landing and all my sympathies flew out the window like Tommen.

Lena can play the hell out of a villain, when playing cops vs robbers she always chose cops but she was a asshole dirty cop who falsely arrested kids

When Cersei was certain she was all alone in the destruction of King’s Landing and she breaks down when she sees Jaime was the most human I’ve ever seen her.

Cersei is definitely NOT the most cruel character in Game of Thrones like you said... She has compassion at times throughout the series, even towards Tyrion (sparing his life twice in the last 2 seasons) Ramsay, Euron, Joffrey, Myranda, Walter Frey etc. are way worse people. She is the most complex characters for sure with more bad than good.

No one played the game of thrones better then Littlefinger. Tywin and Cersei had noble upbringing and thus a good head-start while Littlefinger was a lord of virtually nothing who became one of the most powerful and dangerous men in Westeros just by playing the game of thrones so well.

Not at all. All of the Starks except Arya now are in ruling positions (although Arya soon will be too when she discovers and claims new land). Bran is King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Sansa is Queen in the North, and Jon is King Beyond the Wall (while it’s not officially confirmed, it’s safe to say that he is). House Stark won the Great Game and won big. They are now indisputably the strongest House of Westeros.

Lena Headley played Cersei beautifully and I wish she would have had a more epic death

Should’ve said “ Cersei died in the arms of her younger brother...”

Her ruthlessness and 'passion' matched her father's (I often referred to her character as her 'father's daughter') but unfortunately unlike her father who played a long game, she's short-sighted and more unpredictable. I loved how Lena Heady portrayed her, she was great as Cersei. Truly a character I loved to dislike. In fact, majority of Lannister house were contained with characters I just love to hate (Cersei, Tywin, Jaime--a toss up). I did dislike her ending though (on the show), I'm hoping for a more profound one in the book (come on GRRM, publish the last 2 books! lol).

Tywin wished to have a child with all of his qualities but he ended up with 3 children who had split talents. Cersei got Tywin's ambition and brutality but lacks his foresight and selfcontrol, Jaime inherited Tywin's physical prowess and good looks but lacks brains, and Tyrion inherited his strategic mind but lacks beauty/stature.

I realized, Cersei is the perfect Shonen Protagonist. Strong will. Bent but never broken. Head kept up, even mocked and ridiculed. Has a tragic background of Dead Mother (as it was for told for many) Father absent and strict. Underline and open resentment for something. Edits: Gets a prophecy too But then she lived long enough to become a villian than die a hero.

re-watching Game of Thrones I feel so bad for Ned; he was trying so hard to be nice to/easy on Cersei and her "poor little children", he had absolutely no idea what he was up against. If he had even the slightest inclination of what kind of people Cersei and Joffrey were, things could have gone very differently following Robert's death; there'd be no King in The North, instead the North would have rallied behind Stannis at Ned's decree, Renly probably would have yielded, and the combined Northern/Baratheon army would have sacked King's Landing once more, just as they had years ago.

Cersei seems intelligent until you read her pov chapters.

Cersei didn't play the game of thrones any better than Tywin. Point to her accomplishments if you want but Tywin had the fear and respect of the Kingdoms,he was a king without a crown who for twenty years was hand of the king and in his time alive built up house Lannister into a juggernaut that Cersei inherited. Whilst Cersei became the ruling Queen at the cost of her house,Tywin gained as much power and authority as the king if not more considering he sent a king to bed. At no where near the cost and it was once he died that the Lannisters truly started to lose their dominance. You bring up her traits but Tywin was cold hearted and logical where Cersei would do a move not for it's benefit in the longterm but just to fuck over her rival at the time. A short sighted player which has lost most of everything that ever mattered to her. I know it's a small part of the video i just felt it needed saying that Tywin won without even bothering to sit on the throne with a family to inherit whilst even if Cersei survived there wouldn't be anything left besides a broken kingdom.

That long play came back to bite him with tyrion right. Cersei might not have had time but she quickly rose to power and held it tight till her end. He rose with just balong grey joy trying to play the game. Cersei had to deal with veris and little finger turn on her. The high sparrow and Tyrrells. No allies , jaime is gone, and as soon as she gets out of the cell she secured the thrnes for tommien. She took the thrones only cause tommien couldn't handle the game of thrones so thats on him. Plus the game gets thrown out the minute dragons enter the chat.

@@rapidashingfrog6946 Why didn't she have allies? Because she armed the sparrow and brought back the faith militant in a misguided attempt to lessen Tyrell influence on Tommen. Which led to Tommen committing suicide after she blew up a sept full of major people like Keven her uncle who had served Tywin well for most of his life who with a bit of proper manoeuvring could've been a better ally. Tywin spent twenty years and more playing the same game,Littlefinger and Varys made their moves when he was dead cause they knew any move of any significance they made would be stomped out before it could come to fruition. Varys play was to leave and Littlefinger had the Vale. Tywin commanded respect for a simple reason,he was ruthless with his enemies,fair with his allies and understood the game in a way Cersei never truly did.Greyjoy was a child in the game, we know Varys was master of whisperers during the mad king's day so he's been coping with Varys for at least some amount of time in the game. Pycelle was his lackey. Cersei got the throne,barely held onto it with it only being due to Tyrion's urging not to burn the city to the ground that she didn't immediately lose. Her way of playing the game ended with the Lannisters futureless it goes to Tyrion and Tywin for Myrcella but Joffrey was a fool who needed reigned in but she never did and Tommen was directly her fault.

Wow the book really includes so many more people. I like this version better then the whole season 8. You did a very good job.

After all her character development, she ends up drinking wine and staring out of a window...

The way she strung along Jaime really upset me when I started reading the books

Tywin has been called a king without a crown, he made everyone bow to him,his cubs and is the main reason the realm was stable. Once he died any sort of stability went to the dogs,because of Cersei's rash move like arming the faith militant. After that point consequences just didn't exist cause blowing up a sept isn't going to have any major blowback from the religious sect that remains.

I didn’t read the books but in the show it’s Joffrey or Ramsay.

Cersei, without her ever present wine goblet, would appear naked. I can't recall many of any scenes where she wasn't holding one. 😵‍💫... think... in 8 seasons we never saw her take ONE BITE of food, did we? THAT'S how she kept her beautiful figure!😊
