you know what’s missing to this perfect video? a bit more detail on the 2016 season. one of the best of all time. kobe’s retirement trip and 60 point final game, lebron’s comeback, best record of all time, greatest dunk contest of all time, a great all star weekend, the okc fallout at western conference finals against the warriors, a good draft class: brandon ingram, jaylen brown, buddy hield, jamal murray, sabonis, siakam. idk, it’s a great amount of coincidences in the same season
@coloureditz__7823
2 ай бұрын
that draft class doesn’t even come close to 2017 and 2018 and the only reason 2016 all star weekend is so good is because of the dunk contest but the all star game itself was mid asf, ppl only overhype it cus it was kobe’s last but the game itself wasn’t competitive at all, nostalgia blinds the hell out of ppl like you 😂🤦🏽♂️

Watching this made me feel like less defense is being played contrary to the narrative players are just getting better overall offensively. The offense part is true, but the lack of effort on the defensive side is just as obvious and contributes to the amount of points that are being scored today… Sincerely, someone who has no idea what they’re talking about
@ArmandoKozomara

Yeah Jordan and Kobe would average an easy 40 in today's game
@AB-sw4kb

Also, the illegal defense rule meant that teams had to play man. The 90s and early 2000s, where teams played "real defense," was dominated by iso scoring and individual shot creation. This highlights defensive effort, since you actually got to see one-on-one defensive matchups way more. The offensive player still decided to shoot the contested shot. Nowadays, players give the ball up, team runs multiple actions in the same possession, and the floor is so spread now that a defender has to be able to guard all three levels of the floor AND guard their man while playing the coach's defensive gameplan. Even if you dropped Scottie Pippen and Rasheed Wallace in today's NBA, they wouldn't always get to showcase their defense because the player they're guarding would give the ball up, and probably run a play to empty one side of the floor, get somebody down hill, look for pin-downs, backdoor cuts, and open shooters, rather than just play one-on-one from the elbow.

This is great dude
Bro love the vids never stop it will work u entertaining asf
Insane how underrated your channel is
you know what’s missing to this perfect video? a bit more detail on the 2016 season. one of the best of all time. kobe’s retirement trip and 60 point final game, lebron’s comeback, best record of all time, greatest dunk contest of all time, a great all star weekend, the okc fallout at western conference finals against the warriors, a good draft class: brandon ingram, jaylen brown, buddy hield, jamal murray, sabonis, siakam. idk, it’s a great amount of coincidences in the same season
@coloureditz__7823
2 ай бұрын
that draft class doesn’t even come close to 2017 and 2018 and the only reason 2016 all star weekend is so good is because of the dunk contest but the all star game itself was mid asf, ppl only overhype it cus it was kobe’s last but the game itself wasn’t competitive at all, nostalgia blinds the hell out of ppl like you 😂🤦🏽♂️

bill Russells laugh gets me everytime 🤣🤣
I know it’s kinda of a side note but not mentioning Pippen even once in this video is kind of insane, or even throwing in that Rodman was traded to the bulls for them to even get that second 3 peat in the first place. Amazing video nonetheless
Great video bro
Holy shit this video deserves way more than 11k views... like I would have thought it had 1M! Keep up the good work bro

Nice video bro
I wish the thumbnail matched with the rest of the “entire history of [blank], I guess,” thumbnails.
Great summary.
Lakers traded for pau before the 08 finals. In the video you say it's after the finals. Amazing video!!
Your banter is fucking funny. Love it.
Bill russel and wilt chamberlein interviews were such a vibe
I grew up watching my Pistons at Cobo. Dave Bing was my hero, but we couldn't win with him or Lanier, and I thought we'd never win. The NBA always caught my eye as a youngster
I cannot believe you did not put the Kawhi clip with the iconic "is this the dagger? *dink dink donk* WHAAAAAAAA!!!!" commentary in there.
Bro the wilt chamberlain 100 point game recording had me cheering with the crowd God I felt that shit imagine back when that was the only way you could get the game damn what a time what a game
Dawg the Bill Walton section 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Watching this made me feel like less defense is being played contrary to the narrative players are just getting better overall offensively. The offense part is true, but the lack of effort on the defensive side is just as obvious and contributes to the amount of points that are being scored today… Sincerely, someone who has no idea what they’re talking about

Yeah Jordan and Kobe would average an easy 40 in today's game

Great video. One thing though, Pau Gasol to the Lakers was before the 2008 finals, not after.
Bill and wilt are so wholesome
This man really said “minny an appolis”
Really great video, but Pau Gasol was already on the Lakers when they lost to the Celtics in the finals in the 07-08 season.
Man, 16:06 was cold🥶🥶🥶
What a video 👍🏾
Man when you see bill wilt magic bird lebron and Kobe their aura DIFFERENT THOSE ARE BALL GODS 💯
Cp3 getting his ring this year
The dribbling thing is wrong, the malice at the palace was in 2004, Paul Gasol was on the Lakers finals appearance team in 2008.
Magic played 1 game in that finals when Kareem went out. Nobody ever says that. Always make it seem like he started all 4 games. And he was 6’9. That was his position already. Him playing pg was the thing we should in aww about. Smh.
Dribbling was introduced before 1959
