2 things: 1) Nobody seems to remember the context of AI's "Practice" Rant. One of his friends that he had known since childhood had just died and this was his first press conference after he found out. Instead of anyone asking about that or how he was doing, they wanted to talk about practice. And 2) Imagine what AI could have been with a team that didn't have an old fashioned coach!

The problem is that he sucks, him being used at his best is him being naturally a ball hog and inefficient. His team had to cover for him and that tanked their numbers as well. He’s not forgotten but he is underrated and under appreciated. The league today has been influenced by him specifically in both playing styles and overall culture than any other player in nba history. The sixers did him dirty by never putting a good team around him and now he doesn’t have a ring. In today’s stat driven ring glorifying days he gets overlooked. No one should over look him, he’s the greatest little man of all time, 3rd greatest 2 guard of all time, greatest pound for pound player of all time, greatest combo guard of all time, second leading ppg avg holder in playoff history, all he was ever missing was a competent front office to consistently put good teams around him. The summer right after the finals run they basically redid the roster minus the core. But that team got far because from the starters to the bench they had an identity and they lost that identity over the summer thanks to the front office just fucking things up. The team was never the same and wasted his prime on mediocre teams. But individually he for sure is top 10 of all time for the modern era, and top 5 guard of all time in the modern era.

Allen Iverson is often regarded as one of the greatest scorers and shooting guards and one of the most influential players in NBA history. People have forgotten how good he was in his prime. He started the cornrow braids, tattoos and wearing street clothes before the players were forced to wear suits every game. He was a trendsetter at that time. I definitely didn’t like David Stern for the way he handled him. The Answer is the nickname he gotten. He played 14 seasons in the league and made the Basketball Hall of Fame. I wish the NBA goes back to giving the MVP trophy at centre court before games. It has a more electric feeling

Forgotten?him?that's funny. He and Dwayne were the good reason why I used the #3 on my jersey and put us in the championships 2 in a row.Sometimes, for me,when you think of your inspirations or idols, that certain vibe comes in.Thinking how they play, how they execute it flawlessly.Even Dwayne admitted that Allen was his reason why he wore the #3. No disrespect to the late great Kobe, but when it comes to crossover, Allen is the no doubt top 1. #TheAnswer #3 #CrossoverKing
