The Entire Camino In 10 Minutes
I couldn't record a new video this week due to a family emergency, but we still wanted to try something different. Is this format something you would be interested in seeing more in the future? I know most subscribers aren't interested in the Camino, but it's kind of a cool challenge trying to tell such a long story in only 10 minutes without a bunch of boring exposition. I'll definitely keep making series and long movies for my future hikes, too, but I like trying new things. I am interested in hearing your thoughts!

I watched when you originally showed yours and Montana's adventure. This was a very nice revisit. Dixie you have good instincts for making excellent videos. Do what interests you and we will be happy to see where you take us. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick
I cannot love this enough ❤️Be still my Camino heart.
Great editing and the length of the video is perfect, and left me wanting more‼️💯🥰
Absolutely loved this Dixie! Thanks for taking the time to share all of your adventures with us my friend. Happy Trails.... -John
What a beautiful experience walking “El Camino” must be!!! I’m going back to Spain but this one time is just to walk “El Camino”-2021...can’t wait 🥰

Thierry Francois Muchas Gracias 😊
So enjoyed this. Thanks!
Nice job, Aaron! She is so blessed to have you around! We are too.
watched the original and now this one. love it again. stay safe and say Hi too Montana and your Mom.
Your enthusiasm for the outdoors and your discipline in dealing with adversity draw me to follow your channel, it’s the most informative and entertaining. Keep ‘em common’.
Love. This is quintessential story-telling. Show, don't tell. So many KZread videos are mostly people talking. LOTS of narration, and a little of this. This tells a POWERFUL story. I'll watch it multiple times. It's beautiful.
You and your sis are just amazing.... I saw this 3 times....😁👍🇮🇹
I was fortunate to be there for the live stream of your Camino movie. This was fun to watch, as well. Aaron did a fine job editing, BTW. Thanks, Dixie.
My new favorite KZread video--this tops them all! Thank you!
10 minutes? I doubt Montana will want to walk that fast. 🤣👍🥰 Well, you managed to get her moving pretty fast. 🤣 I love how you compared the shape of flowers to man made objects. That hike was special with the varied scenery. Thanks for the refresher. 🤗🥰🥳
Honestly I normally dislike videos with no narrative, only tech music ... but this is different!!! The music complimented the beauty, landscapes, architecture and wonderful locals and travelers one meets. I've completed the three journeys and it was fun watching your videos and appreciated all... BUEN CAMINO!!
Nice montage. Thanks for sharing. ✌️☔
Loved it. Thank you 😊
great editing!
Love your Camino videos. That’s how I found you in the first place! Beautiful
Cool trip Thanks for the video
Beautiful exercise of style, emotional for anyone who knows the Way and can be motivation for those who do not.
Excellent high light video Dixie 🥰
Hiking/Backpacking the Camino is on my bucket list! I saw all the Camino videos, but really enjoyed seeing this format so yes, I am interested! Very cool.
Your photography and editing is so very good!
I enjoyed the 10 minute version very much. I also liked the long video. Ok I like all of your videos! Be safe Dixie!
Like the format. Modern world keeps finding ways to satisfy my ADD. ✌❤
I've been following your hiking videos for a while and love them all but the Camino is the only one I've done and you made me nostalgic to go back. I hiked in May/ June 2019. I saw your longer versions and also liked this 10min clip. You're a natural storyteller and I like your laid back style. Hope your family emergency turns out ok, keep well.
One of the best and nicest compilations of walking the Camino! Thank you!
Thanks Dixie! I hope everything worked out for the best with your emergency. I love the individual chapters from the trip but also love this condensed bird’s eye overview! Thx for posting it!
So beautiful. The camino is one of the best memories of my life. What a blessing to do it together as sisters. Buen camino ❤️
I like this format and done in 10 minutes is even better. I wish more videos were 10 minutes maximum to help consume more content from various people.
Beautifully done! Thank you
I thoroughly enjoyed that. Thanks for looking after the kitty ..... you rock !!

As I was watching it I kept looking for the kitty. 🥳🤙
Beautifully done!
Thank you for sharing this.
So many beautiful scene transitions!
Hello from Canada- loved the short version-beautiful scenery!
I loved your camino adventure! I would probably not do it because of the crowds, but it was very entertaining, interesting, enjoyable. I will probably watch them all again. It's so nice to see the enjoyment of being with people, in groups, dining and sharing wine and laughter together. Remember when we all were able to do that?! Those were the days.
Enjoyed it 100% 😘
Brings me back to when I walked it. Great to see all the towns and Villages. St Jean, Roncavalles, Zubiri, Estella, Puente Le reina....... and on and on. Highly recommend evryone to walk it. Takes 6 weeks off work and walk it. Life is for living, not living to work !
Very nice compilation! Nice to see myself again enjoying a good dinner. The other camino videos are great too! Thank you for these beautiful memories.
Absolutely love this!!
👍👍🐕 hope y'all r ok. Dixie always comes threw with something out of her magic hat...
Great edit!!! I am a huge fan of your videos. Keep up the awesome work!
Really fabulous editing; very cohesive and delightful film which makes me want to go. Well done. Hope all works out well with your family.
What a beautiful job editing!
Another Great Video and Editing! Amazing! Spectacular segment Transitions! Kudos to Aaron! Sisterly Love! So fun to watch and Entertaining. Can't get enough of the Mills sisters and Camino. ♥️
Great reflection of a hike shared by you two and many others. It’s heart warming.
Just revisited my Camino through the magic of your videos. Tears in my eyes as I recall the natural highs from this special journey. Inspired to return to complete the Santiago Fisterra leg. Thanks for posting. My son has just moved to Pennsylvania after his marriage I might even be tempted to do a few days on the Appalachian Trail. Stay well and thank you both again.
Good video, a few more like this would be great. Europe has a call few can ignore.
LUCKILY I've lived in SPAIN, and know lots of those ENCHANTED town's/places, those we're MAGICAL MOMENTS and MEMORIES !!! THANKS !!!
Literally brought tears to my eyes. ♥️
I enjoyed this one very much, thank you! Would definitely like to see more in this style.
Nicely edited! I really enjoyed that. So nice you and your sister have that to always remember.
Dixie - you have such a keen photographic eye - I love your observations of small details - and your sense of storytelling. Your Camino videos have been informative and inspiring and have definitely helped me get a sense of what the Camino process is all about. This summer I will be doing 6 days on the GR10 from SJDP to Hendaye, then the Camino Norte to Villaviciosa, then the Camino Primitivo to Santiago, then finishing my journey in Finisterre / Muxia. It will be a fairly long and hard trip for me and hopefully filled with lots of good times and memories. At the end of your CDT doc you said, "the ups and downs of the journey is what makes the destination so sweet". Good thoughts to carry with me as I embark on the longest hike I have ever done. ❤
You create amazing video. A lot of differents scene, its meaning a lot of steps. I have like it so much. 👏👏
Thank you so much for your beautiful content. I’ve been watching (and rewatch) all your videos since February when I was diagnosed with cancer. I’m on my way back to health, but still have a long way to go. An American trough hike is still way out of reach, I dream of walking the Camino in 2021 or 2022. You’ve been my inspiration and saviour in the last months. I thank you for that. To be continued (and I’m so happy to say that!)
Truly enjoyed the video editing and piece together!!!
This was wonderful, thank you for sharing! Planning to walk a second time in 24! Excited and nervous to walk it again!
We have done sections of this and hope to complete the entire trek soon. So much loved watching your travel. Thx for sharing. Love it!
This is a wonderful creation!
This is amazing. I'd previously heard of the Camino but didn't know enough about it to be interested. That has all changed after seeing this. In the last hour I have shared the video with three of my best friends and all four of us are now committed to doing the Camino as soon as the pandemic ends 😃
loved this series so much! been following for years, but somehow missed that you did the Camino! Planning my walk for next year and can't wait!
This was super cool. Loved it.
Ahhhh Spain. Magusta Espana! I've wanted to get back to the camino to do the whole thing since I was there 22 years ago, when I could only do 200km of it .... ahhh what a beautiful reminder to find. I love your channel but this was a big bonus!
What a really wonderful recap of your adventure. Your videos make the viewers feel included in the fun.
Loved this edit- just beautiful shots and a perfect sequence to tell the story
You did such a good job at it in this little short together! it was beautiful and had my attention the whole time.
What a fantastic special time your sister and you got to experience together
i think your Camino videos were some of your best!
Really nicely done. I so enjoyed it!
Great video and editing!!!! Enjoyed watching immensley. Thanks Dixie.!♡
beautiful. Not sugar coated. Showing the good and the bad.
That was both brilliant and beautiful. Thank you.
I enjoyed this video very much.
Thanks Dixie - such a great trip. All the best for you and your family.
Awesome! You do such an amazing job! Can’t wait to follow along your next big hiiike! 🙏🏽🍻❤️
Ahh wonderful! Y'all hittin' me in the feels again! I was on my way to Spain this day last year.
I loved this cinematic version! Makes me really want all the details though!
I must say this is a good video clip. I started following Dixie with the original “El Camino” video. Wish you the very best at all times. 💝😘🙏🏻
Know what, its just so lovely that you begin to include your family members in your canel. Thats says more than 1000 gear tips.
What a great job recapping your Camino experience! It seemed like there was some footage not in the original videos, an indication of the monumental editing required to make a good video. Maybe this video will inspire people to add the Camino to their bucket list, it looks beautiful. I like the idea of 10 minute recaps--but maybe just start it with a "Hey ya'll...". :) Hope everything is ok with the emergency.
4:39 coolest transition. Fancy Hollywood transition! 😀
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent Video and so very informative. Thanks for doing such a great Job showing the caveats of this trip. Looks life one of the adventures of a lifetime.
Great format Dixie and Montana. Sometimes a bit too much time just walking (yes, I know that is what backing is about but for a "Santiago" type hike, this was perfect.
I think you and Aaron did a great job with this video. I, personally speaking, find this montage format to be a good fit for adventure and nature topics. It's a nice option for covering a lot of ground in a succinct presentation. I'd even be interested in seeing one without a music score in the background and just the captured audio. Very cool.

Beautifully captured. Thank you. Buen Camino!
Great editing.... what an experience!!!!! So amazing!!!!
I walked the Portugues and Primitivo last fall, and though I said I would never want to do the Frances, you're making me reconsider.
ooo Aaaaron, shape transitions...nice!
Thanks for the memories Dixie. Hope all is well on the home front
Glad you were able to do this pre COVID. Who knows when it will be "normal" to do this again. Thanks for sharing!
Yes! Great. Like walking again. Thanks
So great videos!! I wish I could go there soon as possible! I can’t wait! 대단해요!! 그리고 부러워요!
I hope you attended mass at the cathedral at the end. Because that’s what this journey is. A spiritual journey.
Aaron, you did it again.
My friend is doing it right now and I wanted to understand what it is. This video helped. I don't understand where you sleep but it looks like there are hostels (with bed bugs?!) She is also having get pain, it is nice to see you can get specialized care for issues repeatedly along the way. The kitties! Looks like you get stamps. I'm unclear from this video how long it took, how many miles/kilometers each day, how many hours of walking each day, what your take aways were in the end. I'll look at the longer piece now.
Thanks for the good overview!
At 8:16 - Sarria- 100km to go to Santiago. This will qualify for the Compostella. MANY Pilgrims hike this last stretch. Gets significantly more active. Buen Camino
