I remember being a small child when the dragon ball anime came out and the Jackie Chun and Goku fight was da bomb. It’s a shame that 38 years later My King Akira Toriyama has died in March first 2024.

It's been over 20 years since I read these comics. It's so good to see them on KZread now. I am very nostalgic.

As an older DragonBall fan, thus makes me happy. I don't see enough love for the original series. Hell, people think my tattoo is freaking Gohan... Love this arc it's what really me made me get hooked in dragon ball. I think it's the arc where dragon ball really started to present itself as a fighting anime/manga 🤔 loving your commentary so far in particular seeing how different the anime & manga are really💪 will you cover other series such as naruto & one piece if you know them well?

I plan to create a secondary channel soon dedicated to Manga Arc Summaries for other anime as well. I’d probably start out with Naruto and Bleach. One Piece is really long 😂. Theres actually a channel who covers One Piece Content. Its called “GeekPiece.”

Can't wait for Red Ribbon Saga

I just stumbled across one of your videos, and I’ve noticed that I’ve woken up to your videos before, but never checked your channel out. And I’m very interested in seeing where the future of this channel goes because I love these kind of readings. Have you ever thought of instead of uploading hours long videos every few months you could upload, shorter form videos, 20 or 30 minutes, covering them parts at a time of each ark? That way your audience can get more frequent uploads and have more of a reason to check your channel. your channel should hopefully get a little more traction, It would get you more views and it would be good for the algorithm because of consistency, right? You could even still upload the entire arc after all the small video so that way people still get the long form ones. Of course I literally just stumbled upon this consciously today and my only motivation behind this post is wishing that there were more videos so that way I could put one or two of them on and listen to them while I’m at work every few nights. I have no idea of this is your side channel or if you have a job outside of KZread or any situations, so I hope I didn’t offend you. Im glad im subbed!

I thought about your suggestion before, but overall, I choose to release the videos the way that I do because it gives viewers the entire story, rather than pieces at a time. Yes I would like to push these videos out faster, but they take a lot of time to make, and I'm editing them alone for the most part. I have plans for the future to push out videos faster, but for now, people have been satisfied with the 2 week - 1 Month upload speed. You didn't offend me at all! I take comments like these as a compliment. Thanks again!

The Jackie fights were all fun, and showed technique/power wise where Yamcha, Krillin and Goku are at at this point. I'm also a sucker for the fights of Goku vs Nam and Gilan, showing Goku up against some of the worlds best but even as a child most are not where near his skill or power.
