He was right, this is the worst highlight reel on the internet 😂 Top bloke and a good brawler, respect to Big Jim 👊🏻

And then into pure joy for the shithousery just as he turns his face away 3:00
And big jim still has me in stitches 😂 with his punditry...the sharpest tongue in the game.
Jim cracks me up , sounds the nicest bloke in the world on the podcast and TV but even scoring a try he wants to celebrate with a punch up 😂
I always rated him when he played. He wasn’t a gifted player or athlete, but he was on old school tighthead lock. He hit rucks and caused a ruckus.
@AlphaNevada123

Great asset in the lineout as well. Pretty much won us the game against Ireland in 2013 with 3 or 4 interceptions.
@data9594

That’s what matters really as a lock. I always make sure to hit most rucks and be really physical
Respect to Big Jim, he always put in a shift, and was good for a few rumbles (both in the "rumble up the pitch with several opposition players still attached to him" and the fisticuffs senses) every game. Wore the Thistle with pride (Yes I know he wasn't born in Scotland (his dad was), but he did us proud back in the day) and heart on his sleeve. Good guy!
Cotter at the start there hahah "a strange celebration"
I'm sure the rugby pod will love this

Big Jim loved a dust up bloody brilliant to watch and love his podcasts. Rugby Spod pod pod pod pod pod 👊🏼
I'd forgotten how much of an abrasive player he was. I do like Jim, though. I enjoy his podcast with Goode and he seems like a decent bloke too with a good sense of humour. Cheers, from Ireland.
What a guy. The game seems to be missing characters like him in the last few years. Even eben has chilled with his captaincy

Half his tackles are reds nowadays 😂
Gotta love the Big Man! Respect from a Welsh lad!
Just shows that a lethal tackle can be made legally. Those hits were clinical and brutal. Unbelievable. What a player, what a man, what a play. Wish him all the best, and thanks for what he gave us.

Most of the tough guys on the field in rugby very nice guys out of it.
Whis here after listening to the rugby pod pod pod?
Definitely your funniest video yet
He may have been on the wrong side of the law on most occasions, but Scotland lack an enforcer like Jim or Jason White nowadays. Someone the opposition actually feared.
thanks for you work from france
Loving these forward compilations, I remember thinking that big Jim was such a liability but who couldn't love that in a rugby player!! Yeah he might get sent off but he's usually just put a dent in the oppositions players noggin 😂
I could watch Jim and Eben lock horns all day!

I was at the Irish Gloucester game - am I right that Paice got a red and Big Jim only got a yellow?

0:13 get a room gents!
Big Jim😂😂
lovely ❤
Terrifying prospect on the field
He wasn't an enforcer he was a fucking liability, had to suffer him being in the Scotland team for years giving away pointless penalties and getting carded at the most inconvenient of times....
Swindon's finest
Anyone know what Jim says at the end that makes the ref laugh?
@dougthedynamo

I think he said “they’re picking on me”
Great English player!
Bakkies Botha will forever be the enforcer not this imposter.) Block of a unit this guy.
At his best he had the snarling bite that that the Scottish pack could really do with just now.....But jeez he could do some stupid shit sometimes. Who knew he'd be such a good presenter.
Big Bowsie Jim lol
0:22 Slowest beast on two legs 😅
Never in a Tigers shirt 😂😂
Watched the 2006 premiership final between sale and leicester. Beardless Andy Goode. Beardless Jim Hamilton. Cursed. No wonder leicester lost.
Say what you want about Big Jim’s game, I never realised he was so good in the first guard position around the ruck. Pretty niche, sure 😂😂
Is this really the best this international cap player has done on the pro pitch
Looking back he was an average player who gave his all and the scottish second row didn't really have any depth that could say no to that. Glad the team has advanced a bit beyond that these days.
@Demondoink1
Ай бұрын
Our second row was probably stronger back then with Hamilton and a peak Richie Gray. At least Hamilton could actually steal lineouts. Our second rows are very mediocre nowadays and don’t offer much.
I bet the opposition side are rubbing their hands when they see him on the team sheet, all those penalties, is his full name Jim Threepoints Hamilton ?
Scotland lack a player like Hamilton, every team has that kind of player except Scotland
Interesting “highlights” reel this. Clip 1: a needless cheap shot after his mate scores a try. Clip 2: gets munched by a winger and loses the ball forwards. Clip 3: penalty against for not releasing. Hard Richie McCaw stuff is it
Where's the enforcer part? Jim never really feared in world rugby.
Walking yellow card
He was the Scottish Bakkies Botha.....with none of the talent ! xD
Enforcer?
@Greg-lp1cg
Ай бұрын
He come off second best in most of the clips in this reel
Didn’t realise he was such a dirty player. A bit disappointed as I like him as a pundit.
Couldnt play 80 mins. Always looking for a fight (less effort than playing rugby) or a sit down (yellow card).
Legs are So skinny
Angry bloke
You can take the man out of Coventry, but you cant take the Coventry out of the man. Coundon Court's thickest plank and that is a tough title to win. Shows how desperate Scotland were for players. The bottom of the bottom of the barrel was scraped when he was picked. He could do nothing and he brought that nothing to the Scotland team. As a pundit, when has he ever said anything interesting or incisive? Love the guy for his humour, but ffs this guy has failed upwards from a really low base. So much confidence matched to so little ability or insight. To sum him up...always punching above his weight (ability, skill, insight, intellect & punching).

Terrible highlights reel. Excellent pundit, hard work rate player, but not worth a highlights years after his plying career.
This is the reason I would get rid of lineouts in the game. An unathletic player who can catch lineouts and cheat. Not good for the game.
Not sure 8 mins of brawling should be encouraged and certainly not a highlight. Please do better
