I'm also a recovering addict and I can say for me the 12 step program didn't really do much but don't take my word for that but once I was introduced to a good loving welcoming church family and the Lord let me go thru a situation where I had to wholeheartedly depend on Him to bring me through it, I have fought and tried and fell and slipped and got back up and He has never given up on me or left me and He has worked in more ways than I can count in my mind and my heart to help me stay clean and change my wants and desires to want better for myself. It doesn't necessarily get easier, because some days that temptation is much stronger than others, but with the help of the Lord and His spirit, it get SO much better. Don't give up on the Lord and don't give up on yourself either 💜

Go to your PCP and ask to get a sleep test. I found out I had sleep apnea and 95% of my anxiety has resolved. There are other issues that can make you feel anxious too. Hang in there, I'll be praying for you!🙏🏼💛

Thank you for sharing..... very relatable to part of my story....

Please pray for me I struggle with depression an ptsd! And self rejection! I need a true turn around in life ! I need support from you all! Also deal with being homeless and staying with my sister because my husband was sent to prison out ot state ! I live in California He was sent to prison over in Texas He has been there for seven months We both struggle with spiritual attacks we both are in fully obedience! There is no telling when my Husband Ruben will be out of prison! So I struggle not knowing where my future is taking me! I don't have Family that understand me or have to for me and my situation so I am in of prayers ,thank you and God bless everyone who reads this Amen! Love you! All , And thanks to Jeus for keeping me going during the times I wanna give up on life!

Paula, I am so sorry you are going through so much and feeling alone. God is always with you and for you. He never leaves your side. I could encourage you to look for a life group. life.church/lifegroups you can search for specific groups that would help support and encourage you through these life challenges. Laura
