Saints Row was amazing IMO. Great voice acting and great story. It made me want a sequel bad. Saints Row 2 was even better now that the Boss could talk and planes and bikes were available. I was content with the ending. Saints Row 3 was a big "wut" in my book, but it was incredibly fun. It became more silly (Zombies, STAG). Thus, 4 terrified me when I saw President of the US and Aliens all together. But it was one of the most fun games Ive played. Still great voices and characters and although the story is a stretch, it works. Its like Crackdown on major roids. One of my favorite game franchises no doubt, love the possibility of a 5th.

Xavy276 in my opinion it’s one of the funnest games I’ve ever played but it shouldn’t have been a saints row game. Maybe like a spin-off like agents of mayhem, but not a full sequel.

To be honest, as an original Row fan, though it's really stupid how much the tone changed from SR1 to 4... I've gotta admit, IV was easily the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time, and I actually loved the plot. Almost tied with SR2 as my very favorite Saints Row now.

I love all movie references they placed on this game. I highly recommend this game to any one that's into story telling,l scifi/adventure, with silly but yet amazing randomness.

Sadly a SR5 is unlikely since THQ went belly up, and EA owns the rights now. EA's... well, terrible.

Well, what would they do for a SR5 if Earth is gone? The Gat Out of Hell expansion pack seems to be all they can do anymore, unless they do end up making one using the time machine to show them doing their time traveling adventures and then have another one with Jane Austen

Besides, if the next game does allow you to choose between time travel or finding a new planet, then if you DO time travel, Jane Austen would tell you when and where she was abducted (because she was the first to go) , becomes a homie, and then you unlock other historical figures, Shakespeare, Einstein, etc. Dinosaur times seems to wacky, even for SR, BUT, with the Power Armor, you would still have your powers, so you could probably take on some giant lizards, along with having alien homies.

I love how in the dance scene Johnny Gat gets mad and punches the camera

Eh, 4 was alright, I guess. I finished all the side quests and all but I completed it more because I was curious of what happens, rather than the compelling gameplay. Truth is, as fun as the superpowers were, they did essentially kill the game for me. The Third however was massive fun both as a game and as a story and if I didn't have a long list of Steam games to play already, I would gladly play it one more. I'm skipping Gat Out of Hell and waiting for a proper sequel.

Cheats to disable powers nosupermove, nosuperpowers, but i probably wouldnt disable the jumo and running because those are essential at times

Gat out of Hell was better than IV in my experience

Got the good ending on my first try, mainly though because before starting the last mission it basically said "You want the good ending? You better have bonded with your crew." That's when I went, shit shit gotta do the loyalty missions.

It’s 2019 and I’m still patiently waiting for Saints Row 5 and Grand Theft Auto 6 😟 At least now we have Gat out of hell, Agents of Mayhem, Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Redemption 2 to keep us all busy for now.

I think the first ending could potentially be lore friendly at this point and they just have you and the aliens doing a conquest

Volition announced that SRIV was meant to be the series finale and that they were wrapping up the franchise. Then again, Bungie said the same thing about Halo and still went on to continue that. Here's hoping SRV actually comes to light. I'd like to see a return to the rival gang formula but with historical figures instead of gang leaders. Imagine squaring off against the likes of Augustus Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte, Oda Nobunaga and Cyrus the Great in classic Saints Row style!

It's the same ending, just one part shows more. I can see no reason to think the events shown in the second scene didn't happen in the first, but were just off-screen.

But also a famous writer. If you collect the text adventure logs, you find out Zinyak was drawn towards Earth by her writings as a child. So it makes sense he chose to preserve her.

Personally, if I were "the Boss", I would go back in time RIGHT before Zinyak destroyed Earth and save the humans. Rinse and repeat, go back right before Zinyak destroyed Earth again but in a different area (or all at the same time). Problem solved: humanity saved. Now, you just need a new homeplanet.

Problem is, if you did that you would prevent the destruction of Earth, which would in turn remove your reason for going back in time in the first place, which would mean you wouldn't have gone back in time, which means the Earth would be destroyed. Causality is a bitch.

You know they already did time traveling. In the credits you can see their journy and at the end if you made all loyalty missins you can see after they made their time travel they are freeing Jane Austen.

I only have one qurstion for the 100% ending do you need 100% in the top left corner of the map or a true 100% game?

Glad I made a separate save file before I started the final mission - I only completed the loyalty missions for Keith David, Johnny, and Shaundi(s)

Damm I had no idea the game had 2 endings . I got the 1st ending just because I did not play Kinzie's loyalty mission as she's the last super Homie you can unlock. I thought I'll just unlock her after completing the story 😛

The first time I heard "Loyalty missions" all I could think about was Mass Effect, but then I saw Kinzie's alt. costume...

If I do all the side ones would I travel back even after I finished the game?

Weird, when the cutscene played, my character didn't drop Zinyak's head. It even remained in the dancefloor cutscene, I'm confused... Also, I got the good ending first try since I wanted to complete the game fully.

I love the gat's dancing at the end, lol.

It would be funny, if the Saints go back to the Middle Ages. You could build a Saints Castle with purple banners and so on. This wouldn't have the original Saints Row feeling from the first games, but if they take out aliens and the Saints as idols, it would be funny, but not totally over the top.

Well you really should, because it is a very awesome game, it is even famous across whole world ;) Especially on NXT client!

you do realize that in etd they ride velociraptors while the velociraptors are sing with smeagols voice

"possibly" own a time machine. If you watch the credit roll you should know it's a definite.

I think 3 and 4 suck compared to 1 and 2. Deep Silver should have never got their paws on this series. 3 was suppose to be another gang game with a story of getting your revenge on Dex screwing you and your gang. But no they had to go whacky and shit. You guys should have STOPPED at 2 at this rate. I've played these games and well they killed the franchise for me which is sad, I was a saints fan from day one. Too bad how this story went, to badly written short games. I dont mean to troll on this, this is just how I feel. I like REALISTIC games.
