I took the L-haku during the last raffle, so I just picked this up as B-stock with an extra pcb and POM plate. I’ve had SP Star Sacramento switches just marinating in dust for a year now, so I’m probably going to steal the SP Star on carbon fiber combo for this. Thanks Andy.

“Find one that you can enjoy then GET OFF THE INTERNET” new to the hobby and this is by far the best advice I’ve heard yet. I’ve started with an original tofu 60 and my next board is going to be something that I can stick with for a long time. I’m interested in a hotswap pcb so I can try switches bc that’s very interesting to me.

Endnotes are so true. I'm personally a big fan of 65% boards, and all the boards I have tried have pros and cons. I personally hate the design of the haus because top mount has a mounting point under the spacebar and for o-ring mount, it only has 4 case screws so the middle part of the top case tend to bulge up. Can't wait to try the 910 me though, mounting points and case screw checks out

@@chendusingh the vega I 100% agree with. I've built it with inks, pole jwk, mx blacks, in many different configurations with AND without foam and they all sounded great or at least decent. I don't know about the other boards, but I've had a bad experience with stack mount on the mode65, so I didnt get the sonnet (also I realized mode boards are basically impossible to resell locally). I found that the isolated top mount of the mode sounded too hollow, and the stack mount was wayyyy too loud and every switch kind of sounded the same. I'm happy you had a good experience with the sonnet though, just not my cup of tea.

We had to forcebreak TGR Janes, cloudlines, 910s, etc. The reality is keyboard design especially top mounts have a bit of resonance/hollowness. Keyboard design just isn’t a perfect science.
