I think this game is different from those of the Foddy genre because there's no interesting skill or movement mechanic that you learn. The spirit of Foddy is that your progress is measured in terms of your comfort with the mechanics of the game rather than your physical progress within it. This is the message throughout Getting Over It. This game is more about patience and frustration, which is more Sisyphean and less Foddian.

I disagree. You certainly can get better at manoeuvring the ball and as you go. You learn to utilise jumping and creative strategies the longer you play. I agree that it’s *a lot less skilfully dependant* than most Foddian games, but there sure are skills to learn. Just look at the speedruns. They use the moving objects and jumping mechanics to their advantage to progress quickly.

Hey cody ive been trying to create/ modificate the original map in unity, however i had some bad problems i wanted to share, bcs i really dont know how to solve this problem. when i tried to import the .scene file the game ended up being glitched, like i could play the map but the background was bugged, but what happened more often recently, is that im stuck in the black loading screen when loading a custom map. i waited and for hours nothing changed. also if i put my object in unity into "terrain" the object (/in that case the house you used as well in your tutorial) it got invisible. Do you know this problem and how do i solve it.
