The Sequioa is a great vehicle overall, but that rear hatch is a pain point for sure. I've had mine for 20 years and found a metal rear hatch handle that's lasted at least 5yrs. I think this is not the best bass vehicle tho with the limitations you've mentioned (alt and rear hatch to name a couple). Either way, great video and looking forward to what you have in store next 👍

Go get an early model Chevy trailblazer. They are the overall best especially for modding voltage, much better then the Tahoe.!

Also, those Sequoia hatches are notorious as one of the weak spots on the vehicle. I found & ordered a hatch bypass latch release a while back, designed by a fellow enthusiast, I’ve still gotta get mine installed; if you’re interested let me know & ill find out the details for you.

You should look at autotech engineering alternators they make a 320 amp alternator for your Toyota Sequoia!

Parker!!! You jumped in my vehicle the ford escape walled off 2 Fi 18s - my sister couldn't figure out how to turn the Bluetooth remote knob on and you never got a demo haha! I checked at your vehicle a couple times but you were out and about like me lol Will have to catch you at the next Ruckus, I scored 155.02db@34hz at bass wars!! Glad you're finally walling a vehicle off and doing it the right way!

Be glad you can get 250! My 04 Civic is IMPOSSIBLE to find HO alternators for. I found 2😂 the stock one is only 70 amps! I went with a 220a JS Alternator, 120a @ Idle.

I just started a new build as well in a 2010 Ford f450 6.7l based short bus. My goals are to demo with 10people in the bus I have 24kwhrs of lifep04 and 60kw of amps going in. I have 10 of the same stu-1546 dual 2ohm subs but not 100% set on running them. Rear wall will be a 6th order with a wide 28-45 tune with actuators making the tuning adjustable at the rear chamber. No idea what the plan is for mids and Highs yet maybe just a few JP234's and some 3way setups off the dsp will see I plan to have a dsp profile that limits the high and mids to 118db cap as I already lost 40% of my hearing.

Excited to see your next choice of vehicle. Old school suburban would be good. Lots of room for extra alternators for power. 350/ 5.7L motors are reliable and not too much computer stuff to break. Just my opinion. Or go nuts with a short bus 😅.

It may just be a bad actuator on the door. I have that problem on my truck too.

Same problem I have with my Toyota Sienna. There's no room for multiple alternators. I had to do smaller wattage and bigger subs to get bigger bass.

M2k makes a dual alternator bracket and 390amp alternator for the sequoia

A old u haul or suburban for a build would be enough air space. Bass on bumping

Yeah bro I totally understand! I just finished my dual 320 alt setup with my 90ah cmax bank and now I charge at 16volts and full tilt only go down to 14.8 volts at idle

Damn how much RMS ate you pushing if your dropping that much on a 90ah cmax? I can pull 5k on my 45ah insight bank and only drop from 15.8 to 15.4

@@SheikhN-bible-syndrome yeah at idle it drops but if I’m on the gas to 2k rpm then it won’t drop at all but then again 2 salt 12ks will do that and am still working on the charging voltage for my bank so I may be getting a new one

Maybe you should try and turn the box around so the port isnt aiming at the door handle mechanism. I imagine that because its right next to the port the handle is just vibrating violently and slowly bending things until it doesn't work anymore. Maybe deaden that area alot too?

Just let the cable hang out where the handle is and just open it with that it’ll never break again had a Sequoia and had to do that from breaking too many handles

I think it's possible the Machete might get a higher score, but only because of the lower power handling. The Avatar would be have more air and quality

I would suggest you modifying a vehicle with not just subs but custom speaker mounting, led lighting, and so on. Recording along the way. I wish I could do that. However, I don't have a temp controlled garage here in Central Wisconsin. 🥶

why the 20k amp is so big is cuz the +12v to prob close to +-200v converters mosfets need to be cooled and the transformer is thicc and the amp mosfets need to be cooled too after all

Should be a better score with the Fight subs. Takes alot less power to get them moving vs the Avatars. As long as the fight subs hold up and cones stay together i see gains coming.

Those 20k amps are technically full bridge. Inside there are 2 Korean half bridge. That's why they are not strappable.

Bet your score goes up, less displacement in box, and the Deafbonce subs require less power. You will be louder. Now, if you threw 40k+ on those Avatars then look out. Having beefy subs isn't always better if you can't feed them the power to be efficient. Also in my Durango I only run 1 alt, JS 320 rebuilt by my buddy, and 135ah c-max, at 16v with 2 Crossfire 16k's I only drop a volt if I clip a little, clamp 40k on a burp wired at .5 rise to 1.4 ohm 4 Crossfire xt3 18's in a 4th, but c-max likes 16v so it wouldn't be very good on alot of the full bridge amps you test
