I’m curious dude. Take out the middle two subs and run six and see what DB you get I thought the box was too small for the avatars. Try six of both I’m very curious to see the scores on that.

Deaf bounce makes great equipment my brother has a 15 from them and it has been an awesome sub for years now, I would definitely do something awesome with those machetes 💯 been watching you Parker since the beginning its been great watching how far you have come 👍 keep bassing on

Not necessarily. It all depends on how everything is matched up and wired for power in a particular vehicle. There are people putting out 150+db’s with single 8’s and 160+ with dual 8’s. In this case there was power difference. The cheaper subs may have matched the more expensive subs db wise with the same power, but they would cook.

@@robertjefferson8275 1 18" Resilient Sounds Platinum subwoofer on 1 Soundqubed S1-2250.1 amplifier at half ohms. For my my mids and highs I'm using a 4 channel Pioneer amplifier hooked to my older JVC speakers I had in my room. I also bought a $75 8" Sundown Audio loudspeaker with a horn tweeter. I also have an agm battery in the back.

Awesome vids man! Just got some Deaf Bonce 272s and Taramps Smart 3k. Nothing crazy but your videos inspired me. Keep it coming!

That amp is a beast looking at the 8k I got the 4515r1 15 in the trunk and my smart 5 tar don't push it.

🙋I had the same issue with my build bro. when I upgraded it from my American bass XFL 15s to my Resilient Sounds platinum 15s my SPL score went down! The american bass are more efficient! The Resilient Sounds Will get louder, but it takes a lot more power!

Those subs are pretty impressive I was thinking about pulling the trigger on a Deaf Bonce Apocalypse 3515 to replace my 2 12s but since you're doing another giveaway I'm going to hold off and hopefully I end up with 4 15s instead of 1

My brotha Parker. Has to be the box and voltage. I have 4 15s Avatar SVLs though in a blowthrough in my Silverado on a 15k Taramp hitting 157's. Love your videos brotha keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.

It’s simple: Avatar STUs required 3x the power at RMS than what he was feeding them. Period. He underpowered the subs since day 1. Had he had 4 Taramps 8ks or one Bass 30k he would’ve been slamming.

Excellent vid as always parker. Yea this allows us to see how massively underpowered the STUs were. They can easily handle 5k each so you wouldve needed 40k to really push em. Maybe 2 of those deaf bonce 20k's but we know the sequoia cant support that kinda electrical . The build was definitely still worthwhile 💯💯

i remember in 1999 i hit 155.2 with my 16 12" hifonics subs in a sealed v enclosure on 2 mmats d200hc's. i was in the 0-400w class. that was at 45-50 hz though. getting 155 at 35hz is insane. things have changed and people have learned so much.

@@BenHeien yes, they were actually 1200w each at 1 ohms, but they used the 4 ohm ratings to assign classes. i still have those amps 😁

You end up getting them to that 155?! I had to open my glovebox and slide the seat forward with the drivers door open 1' to get 155.02 @ 34hz at bass wars with the 2 fi hc 18s on the JP63, picked up two of the limited edition 4x4's really hoping you can hear it next Ruckus or TDH if you're going in March!

Nice video! If Parker had more power and 4 of those amps. 1 amp per 2 subs, it would have killed the cheaper subs. That's the only thing about Avatars they are power-hungry subs and take a boat ton of power to push them.

Parker Take some killmatt or whatever sound deadening you use and cut a piece for your license plate. It stops it from rattling

You're absolutely right but I use weather strips and cut them small and place around my license plate and it stops the rattle too👊🏾💯

Definitely need more enclosure volume

Do a single cab truck setup. No seat moved forward. I'm 6'1" in a f250 and struggling to sort out a box. Have an 8 and amp, hard to get dimensions for a box.

I want to see a video on the Avatar SVLs

You only swap polarity on inverted Subs when you're using a sealed box for want to push and want to pull it won't matter in a ported box you just lose power you can tell when you wire your subs in correctly you lose power if you do it correctly you gain the correct power or maybe it don't matter on a mono block

The efficiency of modern high-power subs is so awful, low to mid 80's and made so stiff it takes massive power to get them moving. Sometimes I think super-high power handling is the wrong metric to chase in a big system like this.

I love your videos man. I've ran into a problem. I have a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali and I got some CT sounds subs and an amp. I hooked up the amp to the wiring for the audio input for the stock amp and now the radio turns off when the bass hits for 5 seconds. Any suggestions?

Hmmm... So the amp and subs you installed are functioning, but the head unit turns off after 5 seconds? Is it a factory head unit or aftermarket?

And am I correct here... You used the wiring for the factory amp to wire up the new amp? If you are wiring up an aftermarket amp, you 100% need to run dedicated, separate, power and ground wires to it. The stock GM wiring will not cut it.

@robertjefferson8275 it is the factory head. And the only factory wiring is the audio input into the amp. It has the proper guage power, ground, speaker and signal wires. And give or take 5 seconds.

be sure to have proper venting iside that garage if you wanna have it running for long periods of time, i get that its cold outside and you dont wanna open the garage door but dont suffocate yourself with carbon monoxide

Deaf bonce is a Little overrated for what you get for the price, plus the stamped basket looks like some cheap subs I've seen. I feel skar, American bass and resilient sounds are great options for subs over all. Great video like always.

It would have to be 24 volts dedicated strictly for the audio system, because you can't run 24v through the cars factory electrical equipment. I'm not even sure that an amp could handle 24 volts...

I have seen some demo videos where the vehicle stayed at 18 volts the whole time, full tilt, with a massive system. It was a Jacob Viral vid...can't remember the details tho.

Im hitting 150 with 2 xv3 12s. The trick that most are missing is they dont reinforce the car. All that flexing may look cool on video, but its all lost energy, and sounds like shit.

Yes and no I believe the vehicle it self plays a part of how it sounds to an extent.for example a chevy blazer or Honda CRX will sound amazing and hammer no matter the setup. And I agree on how some cars look cool breathing from the outside but sound like a bag of empty cans driving away down the street.😂

So I ordered a deaf bounce 272 12 d1 not realizing it would Bridge my amp to half ohm so I contacted them and told them I ordered the wrong version I needed the d2 version. So they said they would exchange it for the one I needed. We'll they did and the one they sent me was scratched and smelt like mold. In the end I ended up with a used scratch sub With no paperwork. I never buy from them again.

yeah, i think those avatars wanted more horsepower from the amp to really performe.. dont know why, but the avatar amps seems to bee ofter overrated. Like if the amp is called something 4000, it actually give out like 1000w, dont know why they do that on the amps

In the process of making any another set up looking for a sub to put about 3500 W on lithium, need something to work out on and besides, if you’re helping somebody out this vet would appreciate;)

Didn’t we do this back in the 90’s? What is there now to be proven? Still to this day the best sounding system was a guy in the 90’s in a ford mustang and had to 12 Rockford fosgate 12’s that sounded like thunder a block away! Anything louder than that doesn’t mean better just more noise..🤷🏾‍♂️
