Some people have personally disorders that cause them to lack empathy therefore only concerned with themselves and what they want and they will deliberately hurt others in the process! Some people do not care, those are just pure facts! So no it is not just "bad choices" there are bad people who see no wrong in their actions! People like Ted Bundy, H.H. @@cryptkeeper5027 Not only that but he's also already been tried and convicted. Any further incrimination of his past would likely fall under the category of "double jeopardy"; which is convicting somebody of the same crime twice, which is illegal. Literally can't happen. Anything he went to prison for he can talk about with complete freedom, even if it was murder. If he served his time for it, it doesn't matter. Can't be charged twice. Now, is it possible for him to talk about a crime which was not ever previously brought up in court against him? Yes, for sure. But the defense would STILL make a very convincing case for double jeopardy, since if the CHARGES are the same, and they occurred before his capture and time served, then this defense would most likely still work to exonerate him. Then of course, the statute of limitations is also a real thing. However, certain very serious crimes have no statute of limitations. I believe armed robbery in SOME states, though I'm not sure which ones, has no statute of limitations. Especially if battery was involved, which is often the case. Anyway, case in point there are multiple reasons why he is protected to speak as freely about crimes of the same nature, before his prison term, as he sees fit. Just as long as he isn't discussing a brand new type of crime for which has never been investigated, and for which there is no statute of limitations, like murder. Which he would obviously never do because Larry didn't roll like that.

Gonna be honest, I find Larry's robbery stories the most thrilling and interesting. Watched the videos about the robberies with such interest that the entire ~30 minutes of the videos went past like a couple of seconds. How he describes in detail what to look out for in a jewellery, how to steal a random guy's identity from a building nearby and how to chose the best time where the sun glares on the glass so that nobody from outside can see whats happening inside. It is indeed fascinating. A movie about how Larry got into the robbing business and how he planned and robbed the places I believe would score huge ammounts of interest and generate good revenue. Also there aren't a lot good heist movies, most of them are really old, thus I believe such a movie would score big time. Especially if it's such an exotic specialization - diamonds/expensive stones. It's understandable that any illegal activity should be condemned, but let's be honest it would be so awesome to see on film.

I just happened to find this channel because of the GTA video.. But.. holy shit dude. I've had a buddy who has been locked up for 15 years now because he was there when some other friends committed an armed robbery of a small store. He was aware of the robbery, but had no idea one of the guys had a gun (that they didnt even need). I always assumed that his life has been tough, but fair.. Suddenly, I realize how wrong I must be. Now obviously I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for the darkest of the crazies and the criminals.. but damn man.. There wasn't even BASIC human decency there for you. Kudos to you for finding an avenue to achieve success with your freedom. The opportunities for a felon in today's society aren't exactly bountiful. Health and happiness to you Sir. @Faze Ruggy until I found this series honestly I didn't care, but considering the what was discussed throughout the chapters: The lack of effective rehabilitation, human right violations and the severe institutionalisation that Larry suffered or saw has been very interesting but also disturbing to hear about. It's very much a window into a world I'd never want to be or even dare consider being in but that's the beauty of KZread in a way is that it opens gateways into experiences you'll never have. I found a guy who was stowing away on freight trains from one side of Canada to the other, even though it was something I'd never even consider doing it was cool getting to see and hear the journey and experience, likewise I'd hopefully never become a career criminal or apparently have my anus vivisected down to the taint like one guy did. Also to follow on from your other reply. There are definitely some people who absolutely deserve that, such as serial murderers and of course child predators but not everyone who goes into Jail is one. Even among convicts they will bludgeon predators half to death if they find out who they are (if you didn't see the predator chapter you probably should since he talks about that in depth).

The problem seems to be privatized prisons. It turns a vital public service into a for profit business, where the priority becomes maximizing profit and the welfare of those in the prison's care becomes a very distant priority. Pretty much every single time profit becomes a priority over humane considerations, the results are a disaster. Unfortunately, the UK now has its more right wing government in recent history. With no EU oversight. So we can probably expect things to become extremely shitty, extremely soon.

  • @Justin-rm6su

@Faze Ruggy Good thing not all criminals are rapists, murderers, child molesters, and drug dealers. Even then, I'm not defending rapists and murderers. They are some of the worst people imaginable. But then again, they're still people who ought to enjoy human rights that are universal. Also, including drug dealers in that list is laughable. How is someone selling dimes of weed to make ends meet comparable morally to a Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy at all?

First of all - Larry thank you so much for sharing your story! This entire series has helped me think about my own life and my own perceptions of criminals and redemption. I have so much I would like to say in my comment; so many things came to my mind through the 21 episodes. I have so many questions I would like to ask you. You are an incredible entertainer. Your story is bananas - and I love that you recognize the pain you have caused others even though you were careful about not using weaponry or causing physical harm in the actions of your crimes. I think it shows your true character that you did do a lot of good for your community with the proceeds of your crimes. The work you are doing now is incredible, and the only way you would be doing it now is by taking the path that your life took. Keep going and growing, and I will be there supporting you! Even though I am not even in the US, I think you have a lesson to teach the whole world.

Some work out real good. Anyway I got a son early thirties. In prison his earliest possible release date 2028 he's already been down 9 years. I've sent to visiting forms and I always get denied because I can't remember everything I've been arrested for. If I leave out one little thing. They deny me. Any way around that that you know of? If you get back with me at preciate it. ,

Larry, I think you have more memories you will never forget than most people will ever experience! I normally watch electrical engineering videos on YT and your how to make a stinger video was suggested. I watched your video like watching a bad car accident; I cringed at the thought of you putting a stinger in water and laughed at your account of blowing fuses. All the while I was impressed with the ingenuity of inmates using what they had available. You have such a natural way of storytelling that I thought about your video for weeks and decided I need to watch your channel. I just binged watched all your videos to this point and I'm going to keep watching. I am very impressed with your videos. Keep doing what you do, it's awesome.
