The End is Near and Spring is Here - Building My Log Home Pt. 13

Ойын-сауық

Spring is here and I am pushing to get the last logs on the walls, but the height and complexity of the build is making it more challenging. There are not many logs left to go on the walls but I expect some of them to be very difficult. Some are so big that my tractor is not going to be able to lift them, and others need to be placed where my tractor can not reach as you will see in the video. I will keep pushing forward to get the log work done and I am excited to continue to share it with you friends!
Traplines and Inlines Official Merchandise: traplinesandinlines.com
Welcome to Traplines and Inlines
I have the pleasure of sharing my passions for the wilderness, building, fixing and all other things interesting with my great group of KZread friends.
I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
Thank you for watching

Hells bells, remember the tortoise and the hare? Slow and steady is ALWAYS the best way. I love the way you correct mistakes as you go. It saves a lot of expense to correct them after you are finished. With such huge logs, I can't believe you are doing it on your own. This build is amazing. Keep it up, you're doing brilliantly. I don't care how long it takes because when it's finally finished it will stand as a testament to your colossal endeavor for a quite a few generations. Your great, great grandchildren will be lauding you and you will have set an example to them of the human capabilities we can all have. Stay safe.❤

KZreadr “My self reliance “, put together a “system of pulley” that allows you to lift logs effortlessly, all by yourself. Its wayyyy cheaper Then getting a crane. That’s the way they used to lift stuff back in the old days before they invented cranes and etc. 😊 Or Do a KZread search for “how to install a pulley to lift heavy logs” or some wording like that. Best wishes
