Maybe you were surprised because Thranduil is older than Legolas? Did you ever think about that there's some time since Orlando was in the LoTR trilogy? Nowadays they can mask and photoshop them so that the age wouldn't show too much. Like respect to Galadriel.

@@timomastosalo anyone who knows anything about the movies/books/over all story knows that Thranduil is older, you can't be a father to someone older than you :'D Unless you're acting as their father in a movie, like Lee did with Orlando. But since they're elves, it's only good that they don't look decades apart in ages.
