release date for series 3 controller?

I'd also like to see an easily replaceable battery. Like in the normal controllers, however it comes with an official rechargeable battery. That way you get the best of both worlds.

Yeah that would be a great addition , had a lot of people mention in other videos that they actually prefer using batteries over the rechargeable packs. Thanks for watching and commenting btw !

@@bigbellish343 Because I can easily swap the rechargable batteries for a fully charged one, easily replace it if it degrades too much. Literally the one thing keeping me from getting the elite controller because I hate built in batteries. Always have, always will.

@@bigbellish343 hey , I’ve had some in the comments in some videos mention that it’s because if the built in battery craps out they won’t be able to charge it . So they would prefer to use their own re chargeable batteries. Plus it would make the controller slightly cheaper. Just an opinion I guess.

They need to completely take out the thumbstick tension thing that they have or recalibate whatever mechanism they use for it. I ordered an elite series a couple weeks ago and it came out the box with stick drift and shitty deadzones and i believe that mechanism is at fault since im not the only one to mention this issue. For having so much customization for the thumbsticks they feel very inaccurate and inconsistent for the most part. Its a great looking controller that feels good in your hand but the internals arent good. Its like a foreign car that looks good and has a bunch of fancy electronics inside but easy to break.

in my fair compeitive opinion i need it to be hella durable, the bumpers tend to go out so quickly if they are used intensely (for example i have guitar hero controller layout for fortnite festival at xpert mode only with track speed at 1.75 which hammers the bumper buttons) thankfully my work around was to buy a elite series 2 core and once it ran its course i kept it for the paddles,thumbs ect, then id buy a new series 2 use it for a good 6 ish months before i noticed sticky buttons stick drift and bumper issues, for a while i trained myself to hit the bumpers at a good pressure where they trigger but not hard enough to where i wear it out as fast, once this controller has issue instead of buying a new one per sey, i would go back to walmart and ask for a refund (start refund online and go to different walmarts to issue a refund, after that i usually go to electronics and buy a new elite series 2 without the accesorys (best to buy it on the walmart app since its usually always on discount around 70-90 bucks, and "pick it up" the same day), after like 2 days my refund hits my bank and bam fast easy fix for me. SO PLEASE fix the button issues and stick drift since i always lower my deadzone a crazy amount ingame and on the xbox accessory app. also quick question is the gamesir g7 deadzone adjustable like the xbox accesory app or is only changable ingame?

Hey , thanks for the comment. I agree with the durability concerns , also you have a nice work around on getting replacements . Oh and yeah the GAMESIR G7 has a native app on Xbox to calibrate deadzones ! It’s a decent app to be honest

@@sonofgodrajI’ve had one ever since the start of lockdown and it’s a very good controller, it’s just the input delay like he said that really sucks about it, some games you can’t really feel the input delay but on most shooters and fighting games it’s a huge disadvantage, unless you adapt to the response time and just get used to it like I have it’s definitely something to think about if you game at a fairly decent level

I just returned my 3rd series 2 controller. The controller is overpriced and a pike of junk. I had stick drift, lb button double clicking and my triggerstops broke. You sir hit all thr categories I want to see from Microsoft if I ever buy a controller from them again. I bought the gamesir g7 and it surpasses the series 2.

I second that. I got one like 2 weeks ago and it came out the box with stickdrift and deadzone issues. It's a good looking controller that feels good in your hand but the internals are poor quality.

Overclock to same speeds that PlayStation controllers can go to. Everybody want these the fastest responsive time ever. xbox gotta start paying attention I’m sticking with them forever but play station gotta leg up on us right now.

Adaptive triggers like the ps5 would be cool

It would be nice to be able to replace the thumbsticks as easily as the DualSense Edge.👍 It would cost less than buying a new controller and you wouldn't have to return it 20 times at Microsoft (if you still have the warranty).

Is the elite more durable, I haven’t broken a controller in a year but I’m still questioning if it would be worth it, any though for me?

@@joesus3529 hey dude , it sounds like you’re pretty careful with your controllers , and the Elite is a great controller. I would be lying however if I said it’s super durable. My elite hasn’t got any problems really , other than a bit of drift on my left stick. But I have heard many people in the comments mention bumpers breaking ( from souls players ) and face buttons not responding. As I said before , the elite is a great controller , so it’s a shame when I hear about the problems people have. Maybe try out the elite Core edition , it is a little cheaper , and you can get attachments online for relatively cheap. Thanks for your comment !

Scuff is trash. Keep the paddles the same. Don't need anything 3rd party. Defeats the purpose. I agree to the hair triggers should be way shorter and add a microphone

@Gavlaaar88 yeah just because though. I feel like it needs more technology in the controller I probably wouldn't use it but cool to have.

I must be pretty lucky. I got my series 2 like 4 months after they released, and haven't had any problems with it. It's used daily, and I've even been dropped a few times.

The most common problem with the controller is the triggers sticking. I had mine for about a year and the right trigger started sticking, a lot are having the same issue but in most cases, it's the right trigger for some reason. I'm never buying one again, can't wait for a series 3.

ive owned 3 and my buddy 1 all have their bumpers going out. never had issues with triggers. So thats my sample size.

I think i have to disagree with you on motion controls. I think it's vital to any controller and needs to be implemented as soon as possible.

@@Gavlaaar88 I mostly care about gyro aiming. It's really accurate nowadays and a must have for me in showers. And I'm hoping xinput would be updated as well to be able to make use of the gyroscope.

@@RealistRatRace well, it hasn’t been announced yet. But rumours point to it being worked on. However I believe one wont be released this year , especially since they just released the Elite series 2 core edition. So I think if you picked one up you would have a fair bit of time before an elite series 3 was released. Thanks for commenting !!

Elite series 2 is ass. I wanted to like the controller but it came out the box with stick drift and deadzone issues. I had bought a 3 year warranty with mine but ignored that a straight up refunded it. For having so many features with the thumbsticks they are complete garbage. The controller looks good and feels good in your hand but that's really about it.

LoL i One Elite 2 Controller had Stick drift i gave away got a New one same problem gave again away got new one Same Problem then i got my Money Back Big L on Microsoft
