The Elite Man Coverage Skills of Tariq Woolen and the Tackling that Must Improve
Ойын-сауық
Did Tariq Woolen actually have a bad second season as some Seahawks would have you believe? No, it was actually a solid Sophomore campaign. Tariq showed off elite man coverage skills, he just needs to clean up the poor tackling issues. If he does, he can ascend to one of the best corners in the league.

Tariq Woolen Reminds Me Of Richard Sherman. Both these guys are excellent players!
Rig the freak is so unique has not hit the peak at being elite . His shoulder was tweaked his tackling was weak but Macdonald can teach Tacklings not out of reach Perhaps this year his games complete.

Nicely done
Man, I keep hearing about the defensive reps last year and it drives me up a wall. Obviously smaller sample size but we have our DBs among the best in the nfl at certain things like man coverage and press coverage and they weren’t in those coverages the majority of the time. I think just fixing how we utilize players is take us from fringe playoff to actually competing in the division
Justice for my boy RIQ! 💙💚
Riq was hurt this year that’s why we couldn’t tackle that well

@@thehawksnestclips Thank you very much!
He was terrible last season. Too many PI calls, too many missed tackles, poor effort, bad attitude. He has the talent. Hopefully, the coaching staff will help him. He was a dive without the game to back it up.
Riq needs to play a modified safety position. Or just put him At free safety

I honestly don't remember this as a talking point in his rookie year. It's great to have a stout tackling corner. What's really more important? Passes defended and turnovers or tackling?

@@iron_bison I think alot of people do not account for him only playing def for last 4 yrs. Stack that into what is a propable lack of good tackling coaching the last few yrs here in Seattle on top of him being hurt. . I think his tackling will get better that being said I agree with you for the most part. I will be happy if he improves enough he is not a liabilty and i think with good coaching he can get there.

@11lilreg11 but he can tackle. He needs to be more "downhill," and powerful but he has 116 tackles. With a bad shoulder. Sherman had 120 his first two years.

@@iron_bison fair point ad Richard was criticized too after year one, my observation has been that he avoids intense contact but I support him
