    You are right - this bind off is very similar to the Kitchener stitch.

    We always pick up one strand in addition to the one that we already have on a wool needle. Sorry, this wasn't clear enough in the video.

    Sorry to hear that. In the video, I do this bind off step by step in "real time", and you can watch how the edge is shaped after each step.
