Made this last night. It really was the easiest cake ever! I didn’t have vegetable oil so I subbed it with melted butter. It turned out perfectly. I’m not sure I needed the parchment paper with a glass baking dish and will maybe try greasing next time. Also I found the frosting not sweet enough so I added about double the amount of powdered sugar and lots of lemon zest. Came out really nicely ❤

Made this cake yesterday. So easy and tastes great . Put the topping on, so tasty...I will definitely be making this cake again. 😊

OMG ! It looks so fluffy and so delicious ! It's an amazing recipe, I liked it a lot, thanks for sharing my friend ! I see that you didn't use the mixer to beat the eggs isn't it necessary to beat them 5 to 8 minutes in order to be creamy ? Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your comment! You don't need to beat eggs for this recipe. Just stir using a wire whisk until just combined. That's why this cake is so easy. 😊

I've never tried using yogurt in this frosting, but I think it might work if you use thick yogurt.

It was too dense and heavy for my liking, but flavors were alright not too bad for someone wanting a quick fix for a lemon sweet tooth. Great work

Mine isn't rising much in the oven I added 2 teaspoons of baking flour into my normal plain flour and it didn't rise much....don't know why🤔
