First one: More! All that in about 5 mins. That was awesome! Second one: Brillant, love the premise, not same old trope, it would make a great full feature movie. Good acting. Third: Creepy weird... Loved it too. Needs more. Fourth: Sad and poetic. Beautiful voice of the young lady singing.

I think the last story about the light was the most incomprehensible. It didn’t put a single idea or question into my head. But the blues singer was pretty good. Nice voice.

I saw the last one awhile back(they’ve all been posted before) and it’s not even really sci fi- it’s about ALCOHOLISM. The man was in the dark woods of alcohol addiction & “saw the light” and quit drinking - he left the dark bar. He asked her to come with -aka quit drinking too but she said no. She stayed and sang the song something about “a fool can see the lie?(or light) either way that’s what it’s about. Watch it again and u will see the parallels to addiction

I don't know who encodes these scifi dvd's to another format for youtube upload but they do it wrong. Only question is for what purpose because it does not sound good. Background music and effects channel are boosted up and main stereo channel with all the talking sounds muffled. As if they have switched places. Or the main channels are rulled out at all. If you have ever listened to 5.1-7.1ch movie and turned down 2 front main left and right channels, you'll understand what I am talking about... does not sound right... Because of that constant boosted background music and sound effects constantly overtaking main actors talking and their own moving sounds, it adds something like unwanted drama to all these uploaded scifi movies, making them almost unpleasent to watch.

What's the point of the first 1? And the second 1 is confusing even though the ship arrived the world outside the prison is functioning as normal (people walking around , car's driving around , shop's doing business ect) so why was all the inmates left to die ? No guards checking on the locked down inmates the power turned off the water turned off no food ect! I don't understand why the world is as usual besides the ship but the prison population was left alone to die 😢 it doesn't make any sense.

Because it makes 0 sense unless you think that the guards are murderers and knowing quit their jobs permanently and told no one civilian or government or anyone else 😕 just to see a space ship that's done no harm or disrupted anything like power or water or Daily life.

You know, the one they'd use for the advertisement at the movies The poster for the movie that's on the wall. Or the dvd cover. Or the thumb nail. Most shorts are like an entertaining pitch of a concept. This was more like we've already got our concept. My stab at the last one: I think the guy was in love with or related to the woman in some way, and lost her somehow in real life. Hence why he's alone in a park day-drinking, then the Orb sends him to some obscure afterlife where he gets to see her again but doesn't remember her? IDK. The random home video of kids makes me think they're related. And also some of her lyrics were "A fool never sees the light" Which he literally had to get chased down by a ball of light to see her... I'm just taking a shot in the dark here don't chew me up in the comments lol.

Megan was cool, clearly a Cloverfield ..."prequel?" Awesome to see Mr. Slusho himself (Ganu Yoshida.) Might not click with people who aren't Clover fans. a B+ grade imo. I got nothing out of story two. Guy is in solitary, some dude with a teleporter device, ship comes and hovers, people supposedly taking things from it. Inmate admits (to no avail) that he was guilty, random teleguy shows up again, gets shafted while guilty inmate goes free. ....Ooooookaaaaay? Everything is just disjointed about it. D imo. Third one... Programmable matter comes out of an alien effigy. Cool story bro. C- imo. Fourth... Ummmm did his kids get abducted or something? Great singing, but... again, just disjointed mashup of "wat." D+ imo. This is why I'm not a fan of ET shorts. 100 questions, 0 answers. I dunno, guess I'm not pretentious enough to understand the oh-so deeper meaning🙄

I love how so many of these comments pretend to know what the premise truly is in these shorts while being as clueless as I am. Of course the last one was alien abduction. In Echoes in the Ice, I was wondering what the purpose was for the guy tipping the file cabinet over and then it hit me; all movies must have at least one goon.

LOVE THIS kind of stuff! Weeeeeell, LOST ME on the helo ‘CRASH’….stupid. Hmmm, #3: WHY do they act like “little” kids and WANT TO TOUCH THAT ‘alien sculpture’ thing? Dumb. Last one..JUST..weird.

"Echoes Under The Ice" is a Cthulhu Mythos story & that stuff tends to make people insane. In a "normal" world like ours, we wouldn't care about a weird sculpture, but there, that stuff is flowing with creepy Eldritch powers, & anyone seeing it would be driven to look deeper & touch it. You wouldn't be able to resist it & you'd be doomed.🤪

Interesting movie, but the dark background makes it hard to see all the features, and so you lose some of the "feel" for it. Wish it were a lighter background, not all dark.
