Always more exited over a new Runehammer video than any Netflix shit coming up 😂

To be fair, Netflix is not a high bar.

@@WithTimeComesStoriesyeah I‘ll reconsider my post 😂
I've come back to this episode multiple times now- and listening to it again today proved to be just as valuable as the first time 💪
The way to do a stronger NPC adventuring with low level PCs is that, I think, doing it when players are play comedic characters and someone have to clean up their mess. So goes the over-leveled NPC who is the punchline of PCs' adventures. The NPC will be the exhausted nanny in TVs or movies, and players can do whatever they want in this set-up and play up the comedy.
Fantastic stuff, useful things to think about - This also gave me a new appreciation for how well Stranger Things portrayed Eddie Munson as a DM, super enthusiastic, all-in rooting for the players’ victory while playing the monsters to the hilt
That bit about making them feel heroic, specifically the example with the boulder, that was something I needed to hear. That little tidbit is going to change my whole GMing style. Thanks for that.
_Runehammer II: Return of the Sausage_
That action scene narration in the poetry section had me goin good sounds like a bloody good novel😂
Yeah, I totally love these podcast style videos.
I had a great DM that I learned a lot from but, unfortunately, something he did all the time was having his own character saving the day, beating the boss, being the coolest, etc. On every other point he was masterful but this was enough to bring down the vibe of many sessions
Keep em coming Hank!!! My drive home from work flies by listening to these 👍
Socially maladjusted supernerd? I feel personally attacked. Brilliant as ever, Mr Ferinale, sir.
16:36 I like this! To worldefy the players statements
Thank you for keeping me on my toes!
Finally got my physical copy of the master edition I'm very excited you just can't beat solid media

Actual books are the best.
These podcasts are so good! Your advice has helped me to improve more in the last year then in the 15 years prior. I watch all the D&D content and your's is easily my favorite.
Thumbs up. Yeah the whole trademarked Dungeon Master TM thing is crazy, I throw a bunch of terms around now to make sure I offend multiple Trade Marks… rolling eyes 🙄 I totally agree you need to bring energy, be willing to have the courage to overcome your own self conscious fears, and your other points are right on the money.
New Runehammer video! Get hyped!
Been listening to you since the old days! Glad to have you back!
You absolutely rocked this one! As usual
Really loving these 😊
I just purchased IC RPG Masters Edition and I want to run a PIRATES campaign. Could you please offer suggestions on how to turn the classic boarding action into a 5 room dungeon scenario.
Great listen for the drive to work 😃
I always look forward to hearing these! I wish I could sit and listen to your gaming fun wisdom for hours! Thanks for the laughs, Godspeed!
Am I the only one who is reminded of Mike Doughty when listening to ol’ Hankerin Ferndale
Thanks again for the video! 🫡
I friggin' love this
As always thank you
Shoot, shite, shate!! This one was sooooo useful.
One of the best things I ever did was lose the screen. Let the dice fall where they may. 🤘💀🤘
Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks Hank
Love these. Look forward to each one.
Great stuff as always!!
Sometimes ya gotta eat a skull sausage.
Nowadays my DM screen is a game rule cheat sheet and to hide my doodles as I'm running the game.
My kid who is learning to run the game insists on calling it Dungeon Manager which, while a step down in terms of bad-ass-ness, is probably more accurate. I'm rolling with it and now no one is allowed to name their character Karen.
Huh, I did not take a lot of those as litteral as Hank intended...
Inspiration!
I’m really enjoying these but how come we don’t see your face anymore
oh for F's sake, the term Dungeon Master is now going the way of Superbowl? I don't even think the term DM was originated with DnD but with Tunnels and Trolls. DnD started by calling it referee. I give up, been DMing since 1981. all I wanna do is play! Keep up the faith and teaching Hankerin'!

What do you mean going the way of the Superbowl? DM is copywritten by Wizards of the Coast. Anyone who wants to make money with a product can't refer to the person running the game as Dungeon Master the same way that they can't make Mickey Mouse their BBEG. You, assumedly, aren't getting paid for your games so call yourself whatever you want.
D&D is Kleenex DM is Google Screw it
