My favorite musician ever. I been addicted to heroin and fentynl for the past 21 years, and morphine before that for a year and a half.....I just turned 40 in January 2022 so you do the math I been at this a minute. I've been in a dozen or so punk bands thru the years, toured, skated since I was a kid, and all this has ALOT to do with Duane and Mike Ness and Alva and a few others I idolized as a kid and I still do. That being said- I hope Duane is still Clean. It's such a battle. 26x in rehab. 10x on suboxone. 7 on methadone. Cold turkey at home over a half dozen and I still ain't sober. Had a stroke shooting girl last year, took a monster shot and it ended up being waaaay better than it was the day before and fkkkdddd my week up thankfully not the rest of my life. Ods many times in the ambo and hospital, a hundred abseces the size of my own balls and enough track marks to run a train from L.A. to the mountains of Afghanistan to get some more dope and back.... STAY OFF DOPE IT AINT COOL BEING A SLAVE AND A EMOTIONAL CRIPPLE AT ITS WHIM- ALSO ITS NOT THE WAY TO MAKE YOUR FAMILY GO THRU LIFE ITS NOT FAIR TO THEM so get clean stay clean and DONT BE ME !!!!!

WOW! This is Amazing. I can't skate for shit but I love Duane Peters! Everything he's ever touched is great. I have fought that same Battle my entire life and I ain't winning! Last I heard he was clean which I hope is true!

I'm on Suboxone as well I used to do the methadone thing until I got locked up and had to kick 280 mg cold turkey it was the worst 6 months of my life

I get it that Duane was a great skater.... but his singing perplexes me. Just sounds like my chain smoking uncle yelling into a microphone. Or... is that what Punk is? The thing that bugs me... is that Punk is supposed to be about being your own dude and not caring what others think.. with a little rebellion mixed in. But does it have to be about terrible singing? Someone explain it to me... Also, side note... what happens if Duane wears a clean shit? Will he just implode like a dwarf neutron star? Why cant you be rebellious, be punk.. but wear clean clothes and smell nice? Why do you have to smell like a dirty ashtray? I mean.. seriously.. all I can think about is how itchy I would be all the time.
