Once I had a dream when I was at my mums funeral, it was like really strange like 1800 stile, then things started getting creepy like my doberman was hairless and bloody, and I pinched myself to make sure it was a dream, then I pinched myself while asleep so I thought I wasn’t dreaming

My phone appears in my dreams very commonly, especially if I'm having one where I'm at school (I don't go to school anymore) and I can often use it normally but often it'll be glitchy or broken. The idea that you can't see your phone in dreams is another common misconception thrown around but it varies from person to person

I've been wondering how i could put my dream/nightmare in as its been recurring thing and its concerning me because its been affecting my daily life and i can't stop thinking about it its been affecting my school, my bond with my friends and family and stuff in that spectrum and i just want to understand whats going on.

I just woke up from a nightmare. Could you or someone else interpret this? TW; shootings I was back at my old school, only briefly as it was the end of the day. I asked my teacher as we were packing up if she had seen the new scream movie, (scream 7). She said she had! And the theater she went to to see it was multi-level. Mine was as well! She had said she was scared and had to stay on the lower levels. I laughed, and said my mom was scared too, so we stayed on the first level. Then, all of a sudden it was night, (i think? this part is fuzzy) and we were in a theater. It was the same theater my dream self had gone to. I was seeing scream 7 again, but alone. There then was a competition going for whoever got to a section first and farted got the entire section all to themselves. I ran around frantically and found many rows that had been claimed before me. Alright, that's fine. (this part gets super vivid.) I was still standing around looking for a seat, when I heard screams and gunshots. I wasn't scared though, in this dream. (Keep in mind I went through a school lockdown, nobody was onsite but I was terrified.) I walked across a level and a guy who had just claimed a section started yelling at me to get down and hide. The person with the gun, (I can't remember what they looked like), was wearing all black. He also had brown hair. He started shooting at me, but nothing hit me. I ran off of the seating levels and found a door. I knocked frantically and opened it, seeing 3 students (from my current school) who I knew and ran to. We hid in there seeing water levels grow slowly. I was 100% freaked out and crying this time. Then I woke up. 🤷‍♀️

I had a dream where it literally predicted my future I have had memories of things that haven’t happened yet and I’m so confused because I have had bad dreams and that got me really scared and they haven’t happened and it’s very scary and confusing

9:41 this actually isn't true at all. It's a misconception collectively created ny tiktok. Heres how it works: someone has a bad experience with a dream, they then post it on tiktok, usually say something along the lines of "Don't do this in a dream or this will happen" which will then effect the viewers expectations and beliefs subconsciously which will then effect their experiences. Tl;dr: If you tell someone dreams behave a certain way it will likely effect their dreams as a result

@CherryKings The movie inception is what originally caused this belief. It is very likely it was based on a real experience however. One of the first things I always did when getting into lucid dreams is messing with dream characters by telling them I'm dreaming or they're dreaming and seeing their reactions. I never had my mind influenced in a negative way and have always enjoyed dreams so my overall experience has been positive, just characters acting confused or going crazy and running away. The idea that there's an actual rule not to tell characters in dreams that you're dreaming is a myth, lucid dreaming is filled with misconceptions. Yes the experience can happen even without being influenced however the chances of that are astronomically low as literally any other outcome would be more likely. It's a game of infinite possibilities. Before tiktok this idea was actually used for fun in the lucid dreaming community, not something to use for scary stories and experiences. The lucid dreaming community is full of misinformation and sadly tiktok is one of the worst places for it (Ironically, I make dreaming related tiktok content as well)

More specifically I was driving in a car and all of a sudden an owl flew out in front of the car and I slammed on the breaks and it stood on my hood and looked at me and then I remembered that my daughter was in the backseat and I said look sweetie it's an owl they are very rare. And its not normal for me to remember parts of my dream so vividly. I googled it but I couldn't find answers about what the significance of almost hitting it with my car is or the fact that it stared at me or about my child being there too. Hope you see this!!!
