Surface level, him being dropped by his development company appears to be a very bad sign. But a lot of this just seems far too opaque and convenient to be truly believed right now without proof. Second and third-hand discourse from unnamed "sources" who are providing no proof, but allowing speculation to do what speculation does and run rampant and unchecked is not helping anyone. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence is something that the internet simply cannot fathom in 2024 with most people having the attention span and IQ of a goldfish. I'd imagine the Doc made a ton of enemies in the gaming space over the years through his personality, brash content and his dissing of most AAA game studios as phoning in crap games with even worse microtransaction feedback loops in a very vocal fashion. He's also been hyper focused against the COD franchise for years (even though he plays it a lot) and ATVI has its hands in so many projects at all times, employing a lot of people. A theoretical huge pool of industry people that are likely already up in arms against this man just chomping at the bit to tear him down if/when possible. So just as much as I could see these accusations being something tangible and him being in the wrong, I could also see rumors being circulated through the industry via parties that just don't like him. And the pile-on effect or just not advocating for innocent until proven guilty via their own platforms simply because people have a personal dislike for the guy. Or, even more insidiously, content creators are just willing to entertain this issue because it's getting clicks and making them money. And even if he's completely innocent, just like that he's now a pariah and his brand is destroyed. Even if he wins a huge defamation lawsuit in a few years against everyone involved in these leaked rumors - his brand is ruined now. He could be 1000% innocent and he's now effectively blacklisted already. I just hope for all of our sakes that this evidence comes out sooner rather than later. It's unfair to the accused and it's unfair to those making the accusations to let this hang in the ether with no validation in perpetuity. All it does is make more people angrier by the day wasting away on message board yelling at each other. Rip the band aid off and let's get to the bottom of this. Strange times...

No he didn't lie, he stated at the beginning he didn't know but then later months later he explained he now does and will sue the f... out of them... I'm sus some rogue employees set him up in some way, took the evidence to the twitch bosses, they ban him immediately, he then challenges via law why or internal appeal process, twitch investigates internally after banning him and find nefarious activity by rogue employees, maybe settle his contract and was done with him, so there is potential DM messages of hey hi yeah let's meet up etc, but very strange why they paid his contract, had he breached any TOC they wouldn't have paid imho... but hey ya never know, very strange a man of his demeanour being into any of that funk
