The Doors - Roadhouse Blues 1970 HQ (An American Prayer - Live)
Музыка
"Roadhouse Blues," is a composite live version splicing together performances at New York City's Felt Forum and Detroit's Cobo Hall, both captured during the Doors' 1970 Roadhouse Blues Tour. Same as audio video is created from different sources, too. How do you like it?
An American Prayer is the ninth and final studio album by the Doors. In 1978, seven years after lead singer Jim Morrison died and five years after the remaining members of the band broke up, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore reunited and recorded backing tracks over Morrison's poetry (originally recorded in 1969 and 1970).

Jim Morrison, outra evolução !!!
I hear a lot in this song. It could mean many things. Paranoia stikes deep. I know this.
Goosebumps when the crowd cheers in the choruses! 😃
Morrison had a really good live voice!!!

nice video...
It was followed by one of the best chatting ever "Alright, alright, alright... hey listen, listen, man, listen man, I don't know how many you people believe in astrology (a girl talks to him, "Are you a sagittatius?"), yes, that's right, that's right, baby, I am a Sagittarius, [She: I love] the most philosophical of all the signs [She: I know, so am I!"]. But anyway I don't believe in it [She: "I don't either!]. I think it's a bunch of bullshit, myself, But I tell you thid, man, I tell you this, I don't know what's gonna happen, man, but I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames, alright, ALRIGHT!".

Jim Morrison was the best rocker at interacting with his audience. Whether it was a good night or a bad one, Jim was always entertaining. The Miami concert on March 1, 1969 was considered a train wreck by some critics but I found it fascinating. Definitely worth it for those unfamiliar with it to seek it out and listen and judge it for yourselves. ✌
Great pot pouri mix
Wow
How does one play keyboard bass lines AND the regular keyboard melody at the same time?

Edward Roach I used to watch my wife play organ, I swear her feet had a mind all their own! Her hands were playing the keyboard, and her feet were playing the pedals, don’t know how she did it. Organ players are a lot like drummers, hands and feet going everywhere!

Even though they were Cali West coast which I always felt was kinda too Hippie dippy ( I'm So 100% NYC) The Doors were no hippie trippy flower power peace and love band They were Bad ASS Blues jazz Rock ..dark ..They were Intense Morrison a full out maniac wild man. A long while back I got to know This man Tony he worked security with the Stones..he was at Atlamount and The Doors and he ended up being "Jimbo's" baby sitter..security Went out with him to make sure he didn't get killed or kill himself or drink himself to death..told me great storys..sadly a few years ago Tony got Prostate cancer and lost..but he left alot behind. Many tales especially anout Jimbo he truly loved like a brother he had to watch out for... the stories he told all true its surprising he Morrison lasted as long as he did and he was only 27 That's how far over the line hed go And he was a GENIUS and as Tony said a beautiful loving guy Not hatefull..just WILD! And sometimes a big self indulgent brat..and who could blame him He had the world at his feet ..The Lizard King..he really called himself that when off his head...I love this song.
