At 75, Robert Plant's Daughter FINALLY Admits What We All Suspected

Ойын-сауық

At 75, Robert Plant's Daughter FINALLY Admits What We All Suspected.
From the feral "Whole Lotta Love" to the meditative "Stairway to Heaven," Led Zeppelin has brought hugely inspiring and influential tunes to the rock 'n' roll world. And none of these songs would have been the same without the powerful voice and captivating lyrics of Robert Plant. Rolling Stone once declared Plant the best lead singer of all time, his stage presence was one of the first that said "rock god." Yet, despite his fame, the man behind the screen remained somewhat of a mystery to many. Now, at the age of 75, Robert Plant's daughter has finally confirmed what many have long suspected.

The man, the myth, THE LEGEND who every man wondered what it be like and every woman to be with. As He gets older it tears me up because listening to Zeppelin is connected to so many of my memories growing up and with those days behind me/us. There comes a time now that tells us even The God is mortal. I dread the day I come onto the internet and read that the lead singer or guitarist has passed away. Because a piece of me will be gone too. Zeppelin forever.

Its funny how our minds work ... not to be an ass BUT, theres nothing saying that it just might be you (or me, of course) who goes before him and its HE who stumbles upon YOUR obit in the morning paper, and asking himself: 'Hmmmm, wonder who this bloke was ?" And only 70 years old. Shame, so young'. But yeah, I get ya 100% and I've said the same thing to myself. Watch 80, soon to be 81 years old (young) Mick Jagger prancing around the gym like a 20 year old like I just did a few minutes ago, you will see that what I said is a distinct possibility !!

He seems to be one of those rare rockers who really has no negative aspects about him. He wasn't a drug addict, or an alcoholic. He always struck me as being a very charming and gentle soul. Not to mention being part of the greatest, most influential rock band of all time.

He is a good man and has always loved his family but at least during his Zep years was very unfaithful, as I'm sure most were. He's got many great qualities but even he would reject so many comments making him out to be what he is not. He's a very grounded man who recognizes his flaws. In one interview he blamed "the pint" as the reason for his break up with his female band mate. I do love this man, let's just be real about him.

I think Robert Plant is the greatest rock singer of all time. Also, his ability to write amazing lyrics doesn't hurt either. He is very good at covering other singers as well if he wants to, yet his own style is unmistakable. When you listen to an original song by him you know it's him singing it, there is no question. He is a true gem a one of a kind. There will never be another like him. We love you Robert!

But, people here respect his privacy and do not normally spread this about or message on social media when he`s about and rarely bother him. When I heard Heart breaker's first few notes, I fell on the floor and never recovered! :). I would always find great solace in the band's outstanding and powerful songs and music. The voice, guitars, bass and drums were at another level all together. I started playing guitar at that time and would listen to Page's sublime licks and riffs and just wondering how in the world does he achieve that magic and getting literally lost in Plant's unmatched and haunting voice...Thank you Led Zep for all this contribution to the world. I made this comment for Freewheeling ideas in which I recounted seeing Led Zep on their very first visit to the USA. Some older musician freinds insisted that I accompany them from southern Connecticut to Boston Mass. to see this exciting new blues based band from the UK. And so I saw a tremendous show at the Boston Tea Party, a very popular venue at the time.Jimmy Page was the only member I was familiar with due to his stint in the Yardbirds. It was the tail end of 1968; I had just turned 16.Robert Plant was 20, Bonham a year older I believe. After the show we were able to visit with them for a short while. I found myself speaking with Robert who had a thick midlands British accent. He told me how he and Bonham had been astonished to see NYC cops with huge holstered guns on their belts.(don't have that in the UK) It is something I have never forgotten as I watched them ascend to become such huge stars catching Led Zep the following year 1969 at NYs Fillmore east and the Newport Jazz Fest. It's really an astonishing recollection, one of the very best and as a performing musician I've had my share. Thats it!!!

WOW!!! All that talent & intelligent too. All the better for the business of his dream of making music. I grew up on them & loved every minute of it. ONE OF THE BEST FRONT MEN & VOICE ‘s of our generation!!! HE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS ONE HELLUVA ROCKER AND ROLLER . When we hear HIS VOICE we know exactly who it is,,, it’s so characteristic just to Him!!! I’m sorry if he’s having bad times right now. And OMG what a horrific accident & leaving him in a wheel chair. And both him & his wife with the almost passing away. Then losing his Son!!! How Very, Very SAD!!! I’m Proud Of Him . A lot When It’s Us Going Thru It!!! I hope & pray that This Family’s Healings are both in Health & Spirit. Im sure the band does too. It’s just not the same without him. And then Bonom dies. Good Lord!!! It’s SO SO SAD!!! That’s a fairly long run of BAD HEART WRENCHING INCIDENTS. Prayers, Respect, Best Wishes To ALL OF LED ZEPPELIN WHO ARE STILL WITH US AND PRAYERS TO ALL OF US,,, WHATEVER OUR AGES WHICH ARE NOT YOUNG,,, THAT THE LIFE WE HAVE LEFT IS FILLED WITH PEACE AND HAPPINESS IN THE REST OF OUR DAYS . And those days will be surrounded by love, trust, respect, Family & Beloved Friends. Amen!!! So I’m praying for us all. That we can always be able to sing & dance & pray, that what life we have left we can joy in all kinds of things.?

When I was very young I grew up with one sister and four crazy brothers. I was the only one allowed in my sister's room because I was the only one that didn't harass her all the time. I remember she had a copy of Led Zeppelin II and she had dipped ink into the inside cover like a Rorschach test. I recently found that album after all these years. The first time I heard "Whole Lotta Love" my life was changed forever. For 3 years I was taking keyboard lessons and I was not progressing very well at all. So... I became a bass player at 13 years old and got very good at it quickly . I got into a popular local band at 14 years old with 4 highschool cats. The bassist was going off to college and I got the gig. I have been playing professionally and touring with bands ever since. I even recorded an album with ECLIPSE in 1983. I got to play bass on stage with some famous people when I moved to Connecticut. Music Legends like, J. Geils, Joe Bouchard, from (BOC), Bernhard Purdy, Peter Tork and a few others. My channel has photos. I'm very grateful to my sister for allowing me into her room and letting me listen to her records. It made my life a whole lot better. Hearing Led Zeppelin made me see the light and I followed it with great success. Cheers!
