I understand where shes coming from. I was diagnosed with asthma at 4 and they plumped me up with all those steroids.😂 I was 199 in 5th grade. My doctors never mentioned anything to my mom because it was "just the steroids". When I turned 14 I realized that I ate SO MUCH MORE than probably an average adult it wasnt just the steroids. I reached my heaviest of 235 lbs at 15. Just turned 16 and I'm 25 pounds down😭. All ya gotta do is eat right I swear it makes such a big difference.

Ashley keep on working on the healthy diet. I’ve had to be on steroids too, and it really does cause some people to blow up. But we can take charge of our diet and do our best, and sometimes when I’m eating better the inflammation goes down & I need less meds anyway !

John Wick Actually if you knew my story, Then you'd know that I have 2 Rare Conditions (Hereditary Angioedema type 3 and Mastocytosis Look them up before you make another comment.) that are Incurable that I've had since birth, Along with Asthma, POTS, Addisons, And ADD. To Add to that, I was on Prednisone for 9 Months when I was 9, Which made me gain 40 Pounds Due to the High dose. I'm 12 Now, and Have a portacath, I can't go to school, I have 1 Amazing Friend who is a guy, (I but Idc He's Nice to me😊) And I don't get to leave the house unless it's Church, even then I have to wear a Mask. Not to mention I was Home Bound for 3 YEARS From the ages of 6-8 years old. So unless you've been in my shoes, Please don't comment stuff like that. My Life is hard enough as it is, and My comment actually made a Few people laugh.😀

Amy Molnar it seems to be the norm for little girls put in pageants. I don't understand why they can't let the kids be kids in those pageants.They have them all glammed up and acting like adults which I find sick, disturbing, and suspect. It's one thing to play dress up in your own room and to do a fashion show in front of family, but to go to the extent that the parents allow those kids to go is too much. Who is really the intended audience for those child beauty pageants?

Amy Molnar I have never worn falsises in general and I'm 12. Why are they putting that type of makeup on a little girl I understand a little bit of mascara, foundation, and lip gloss, just for the show. But they put way too much makeup on her for her age.

I agree but she is a pageant child and sadly the norm is not natural young beauty as a child it’s makeup to look like a lil hooker basically. It makes me sick....kids can’t be kids anymore. They have to grow up overnight and go from 9 to looking 19. Let kids be kids. And can’t pageants be them showing talents singing dancing whatever in costumes and maybe hair done but no makeup? Ugh.

2 Time BrainSurg Survivor/RareDisease Fighter right! I've heard of kids having to do a swimwear portion n some pageants before.even babies..why? That's disgusting.In adult pageants they say it's to show their physique but what sense does that make for a toddler to teen? Hopefully they stopped that. I blame the parents for allowing that stuff. They seem geared towards pedophiles I hate to say. Why are so many adults geeked up about dressing their toddlers and small kids like adults with makeup only to be paraded around on stage in front of adult judges like it's the cutest thing ever? There are such things as talent shows that don't require them to get all dolled up like that.

Exactly, only the pill form steroids make you gain weight. Steroid inhalers have a very low dose so they don't affect your weight unless you over use them. This woman is delirious.

Exactly bc when I was a child (age 7) I was diagnosed with asthma. I was considered a severe asthmatic until I was 24 and being on the steroids and breathing medications never attributed to weight issues. She forgot she was talking to Drs.

I was so skinny when I was really little that my mom had to fix my clothes with a sewing machine to make them smaller. I ate a lot but remained the same. This was until I had big asthma issues and got on medication with an inhaler. By the time I was 8 years old, I had to lose like 30 pounds. I lost the weight, but the point is that I didn’t have that weight until years of asthma treatment.
