Fantastic build as always Patrick. I've been using this for the last few days and it absolutely shreds. For anyone who uses this or any type of Ongoing Directive build I have a fast and easy way to get the Hollow Point ammo. After equipping your OD build go to the shooting range and apply a status effect to any of the targets (The AOE ones are the best.) Then wait for the status to kill the targets. You can shoot them to speed the process up of course. As soon as they are "dead" you get your Hollow Points. Repeat with your secondary and your pistol and you are done. That way you can start missions with hollow points already loaded into your gun. One thing to note. If you leave DC (Classifieds, Summit, Raid, Coney, etc) you'll lose the HP's. But if you are doing open world activities or regular missions in DC the shooting range trick is an easy and fast way to get the HP's :D

I'm sure you know this, but once you have special ammo in one weapon you can apply the effect to an enemy and switch to another weapon to kill them and add special ammo to that weapon. Do this for all three weapons and make sure to keep special ammo on you sidearm at all times to apply a status effect, then switch to your main to refill it's special ammo/on kill, if I had run out of said ammo.

This is my favorite build. Love watching the bleed and Vile status effect burn down an NPC. I've been using it in co-op for the Summit. This build is a lot better than the other one with two piece GL.

This build will be very handy with the current League, where one of the tasks is bleed damage on target.

Still using that explosive hive/seeker build from a couple of months ago from mr Wolf. I hit 10/10 for the league stuff after a few levels of summit

Have had some headaches with hollow point when you pick up other status effect bullets. Tends to bug it out and makes hollow point not work.

Nice build. I had this build before PTS and run it with survivalist for that extra damage to status effected enemies. Super fun.

Pro tip: Kill a status effected target in shooting range before going into mission. Free hollow point bullets.

Been running this build for quite while now, but with Survivalist for the status effect synergies. Was strong even before they buffed the Eclipse BP.

Been running this build as my main since the Vile mask dropped. Even better with PESTILENCE it's a pretty awesome build and fun! Try it out!

Yeah I need to update my tech finished 1.0 last night then seen this I’m used to running build with a shield like memento and true patriots then I wanted to try this went to summit and tried to just run at an elite squad it didn’t go well 🤣🤣🤣 so like you said if your not an idiot like I was it’s great 🤣🙈

Love the build first and this version of your build. Really love bleed and DoT builds. I just need to ask two question. Will the amplified damage on Ongoing Directive still increase Pestilence’s Tick dmg? Will I still get Vile mask on targeted loot? I didn’t get to play on season 2 that’s why I don’t have it

I run Pestilence all the time, I wish this worked for it's Tick damage, but it's DOT isn't considered a status effect.

Kelly Enlow since pestilence tick dmg can be only be increase by weapon dmg, dmg on armor, etc, i don’t think the hollow point increased weapon dmg wont benefit the pestilence ticks dmg at all

have to try this different version if could work better than the Anarchist's Cookbook rolled on red. i still have huge difficult to make this build work well in coop. no problem in solo. any suggestion?

Have you tried the eclipse mask vs the vile? I’m curious if the two piece eclipse giving 15% status effect is better than the vile debuff

I’ve been running this gear for a while and I’ve switch between bullet king and the pestilence and the carnage with perfect sadist, I’ve running with the gunner but I’ll try the technician I like running more of a 100 percent stability so I don’t use the mechanic animal

Why am I just now realizing that some intrinsic talents on gear sets apply even if you don't have the full set equipped?? (Looking at you, eclipse protocol backpack) 😂😂😂😂

i just made this build on my channel(it's in chinese anyway xD) days ago. but im reroll to more firepower cause the hollow point provided weapon dmg. backpack also provided all kind of dmg which is include weapon dmg. it's fun with carnage. like unlimited bleed. have 150 hollow bullet once killed an enemy.

That pistol. The named kard doesn't give me the extra tier unless I am using it. I don't know if that's intended or a bug.

Another thing that does not seem to be well known is that this will generate Hollow Point ammo even with a directive like Pistolero.

Does the eclipse backpack work by itself? I always figured it didn't and you needed four pieces of the set.

You don't need the 4pc to get the backpack talent.

Can we also appreciate how as long as we don’t empty the mag of hollow point (which is easy with a lmg) we have infinite status ammo?

Use same gear set except change exotic mask for ridgeway pride exotic.

I'm running this build but I rolled armor on 2 pieces. its around 1.1 armor slot better than the 700.

Ah I didn't know that backpack talent works with 1 piece awesome

@@fenrrirgr I was just testing it in fire range and it seems like it doesn't work without the full set anymore. Anarchist's Cookbook dealt more damage to the training dummies and it confused me, and it seems Eclipse Protocol's backpack talent just doesn't proc

All gear set talents only work with 4 pieces now. They are called "amplified" talents or something

I use eclipse chest, backpack and gloves and holster...throw on the vile mask...rock the emp pulse and the firestarter...burn the world down lol

If you dont use the repair drone, is it better to use Gunner?

You could use it with Bulwark shield with 1 Red and still tank. The other place it can save you is high floors in Summit with ammo directives. You have 4 yellows 2 blues, Technician, and use a turret and/or drone. Mod the pistol to have Spike, or maybe Insync if you have to stay in cover.

Been running this for weeks.

I have 3 of the new named pistols, one for each toon I play of course. Season Caches have been kind to me.

The down fall is black tusk robotics. These are immune to bleed.

I got it 1st day of TU11 from a named item crate and it was granting 1 skill tier for just having it in my loadout.

Travis Jones Its been like that. I think people assumed that if you didn’t have all the pieces needed to complete the set gear bonus that the talent wouldn’t work. I’ve used this same exact set up for months. I’ve also used a 4 piece Eclipse with a Ongoing Directive backpack to add to the bleed effect on the Eclipse

It's really good for either, but you will need to communicate & coordinate with teammates so that you can get finak shots/kills in to keep hollowpoints in your weapon.

The kard named pistol only gives a skill tier when it is currently in your hand and not in the holster. Unfortunately its not just an extra skill tier.
